walking with wolf

One of my birth totems is wolf, born in the sign of pisces. Wolf
however has been with me since childhood, as has puma. Two very strong
animals who have taught me so much. Integrity, perserverence, staying
alive despite the enemies stance..being attacked for no good reason,
just for the hunt. Following wolf off the path, into the realms of
knowing...always a lonely path but never alone..returning to share
with those who share the path with me what brother wolf has offered as
wisdom and lessons. never motionless but awaiting what has yet to
manifest can teach great lessons . Patience. Rambling alone, often
wishing for a companion to share the path, but when one would appear,
it wasn't for the sharing but seemed to be just another wolf dressed
in grandmothers nightie..ah, they have tested me, they have egged me
on..a fight would only be unfair..for them. Oh, I have had to step
into ' standing in my truths'..and being disowned, hated, willed hurt.
ah, so what?? nothing is dangerous unless I make it so. Long ago I
told a woman I had a strong respect for the dark ones, the skin
walkers. She was in a huge fright over this. How could I respect the
darkness? Only in giving it respect, does one know the ways of the
dark ones and one allows ones own thoughts to say they are not
dangerous have they called the fool in..I am no afriad of the
darkness....years ago I was sent into the darkness.only to return with
the darkness which I turned into light..a medicine man calls me little
sister of light, who brings light to the darkness...when light is
given it is not dark anymore...shadows dance and there one can
engage.... dance the dance.!!

I am not exactly sure why these words come..they seem odd, but will
honor what was given to me to share and not wonder or worry..it must
be for a reason...
