Hey Monchu,

We have bad news, the encoder is in Spain and in it will not be here on time for our presentation on Friday.

So the way i see it, we only have 2 options, either we take out the encoder we have in our prototype and use it there at the Museum, or we don´t do a presentation at the Museum.

Obviously there are several factors that weigh in on this. In order to actually implement everything on Friday, António needs to be in the Museum really early in the morning tomorrow, obviously that is a problem because he has his indepedent study presentation tomorrow. But really there is no other way. If we decide to do this, we will not be able to showcase our demo in the presentation here at the university.

In regards to not taking the encoder out, and not presenting in the Museum, it is something that actually they deserve based on their actions and attitude in regards to the items that were supposed to be ordered..3 weeks ago. Although i don´t like this option, it is a valid one in my eyes, because we informed them in a timely manner about the items. Now we will not in any circumstances be presenting a half-assed product because of someone else´s irresponsibility.

I hope you understand our concerns, and you should make a decision in regards to this.

Hi All,

Bad things happen.  Let's try to make our best under this circumstance.

Before we decide which plan to go, please continue whatever in your task list as if both presentations will happen.

Here are few items I would like you to do.

1. Pedro, please talk to Luis directly, and make sure he understands the situation.  I want to know what his position is.

2. The project is more important than the demo tomorrow.  We can cancel both yoga studio and interactive installation.

3. When you have the draft of the slides for presentation in UMa, please let me review.

4. Check with Luis about the presentation format and duration for the museum, with and without the demo.

5. I also want to know what the team think about the solution.

The decision should be made by earlier tomorrow morning.

On my end, not only because at this point a lot is dependent os installation, I'm not comfortable with working with a short time stamp, specially not having seen both the steering wheel nor the throttle.

I'm pretty sure I can reinstall our stuff in their poles and have something that will look good in our portfolios, as long as I have time. If I can work there tomorrow all day, with Dinis help, I'm sure we will finish everything...under those terms I think we can succeed.. That would mean cancelling or postponing the indep studies open hours.

On my behalf, for decision taking process, I'm with Antonio's opinion.
And about the decision timestamp, I believe we should have it today so we can go to the museum early tomorow. Let's not wait till tomorrow to decide on this.

At this point, we should definitely cancel the independent study demo tomorrow.

And I believe that we all want to demo this at the museum on Friday.

We should make a decision before today, and I believe it is already made. Talk with antonio, he knows all our opinion.

Well i just talked with Luis, and he is now aware of the options that we have. Needless to say that he does not consider not presenting in the Museum an option. We wants the presentation there, regardless of what happens.

I agree with Monique.

And to clarify misunderstandings on m.itis end, yes the indep studys are able to be presented by others but persobally, after all the effort we put into them, I would like to be there..
