Hello Monchu,

I talked with Alfredo and he told me that he won´t make it to the university today, he suggested for us to go get the items at his house at 8pm. It´s in the roundabout near quinta magnolia.

Thanks,
Pedro

It seems to be close to where I live.  How do we arrange to pick them up?  Is the encoder included?  If so, should we implement our controls instead of the USB version?

Monchu, i seriously don´t think we should even consider this an option. He was the one who screwed up, so he should really make an effort to make amends.

Sorry for the late reply but I was driving home. My opinion on this matter is that we should have both the portable and the full scale prototypes. For the full scale prototype, the following items need to be gathered / museum has to pay miti, as mentioned before:

"A new encoder adapter needs to be made at the same place I went with Pedro - 10€

The sound card I left them costed 12 € on ebay (it was my own), usb hub 10 and power adapter 5€.

The speakers....it would be better for us to keep those they ordered (if not, just retrieve mine, I donated 2 sets of speakers to the MET).

Basically, either the museum should order that or they should just pay 70€ and I can help miti to have those ordered....let me know if there's any questions"

I went to Worten here and they have both the 35€ wheel and 20€ joysticks. If you want me to, I will even buy them, ship to Madeira and get refunded by MITI, if that's necessary to successful completion of the project.

I have to agree with Pedro. There's no point getting the items before the client assumes his responsibilities, either paying the above value or getting the remaining items ordered.

The only way I see this running on both ends is for them to have the encoder adapter removed and recreated during a monday.

Antonio
