Guys,

Thanks for all the prays for my cousin Joey. He is awake now off
the ventilator. He was told today by the physicians that they had to
take both his legs off. Of course he cried but stated, I just thought
they were stiff and crooked. Then he looked up at his dad and said Dad
I’m like you now. His dad had his foot amputated d/t diabetes a few
years ago. Thanks so much for your prays, I see God working in
Joey’s life through all the support of family and friends. They gave
Joey only a small percentage to live that first few days. He received
over 40 units of blood just the first day he was in the trauma unit. 8
pints for several days after that. They cut Joey open from neck to
groin and he laid in the bed like that for days so they could monitor
his bleeding.(what I was told) All the bleeding was from the groin
artery. He has been through a lot the last few days but thanks to God
he is off the ventilator and no brain damage.
My hope and prayer is that God can use Joey with young people his age
(21) to tell them about Christ and His love for them. God can use Joey
without legs more than He could me with legs. I call him blessed. His
scripture that we have picked for him is James 5: 15-16. All the young
people are getting shirts made with that scripture on it. Your prayers
have meant so much to me and my family. You will never know how
grateful I am for all my Christian friends.

Please pray for Willie Campbell who underwent surgery yesterday to
remove a tumor on her spine. She is our friend Lacrecia Whisenant's
aunt. Please pray for her recovery.

Please Pray for Gary as he recovers at Riverview Hospital In Gadsden.

Please pray for the family of Willie Campbell. She lost her battle
with cancer yesterday. I have known Willie since I was a child. She
is Lacrecia (Body) Whisenant's aunt. Much to young to leave us, She
leaves behind two daughters, grandsons, a sister, and many more family
members and friends, who will miss her very much.
