Interest Survey

This survey focuses on gathering information about a learner’s interests. These interests are then matched to potential career paths such as Business, Science, and Tourism. Such survey is one of the many tools that the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium has come up with to prepare individuals to flourish in a global and dynamic economy. I like this survey because it aims to provide learners the bigger picture of what they can achieve, assuming that they will bank on what they are passionate about.
Learning Style Survey
This survey captures learning preferences and does not aim to predict behaviors. Andrew Cohen and Rebecca Oxfard created this tool to find out trends related to learning language, study habits, and comprehending instructions. I find this survey user friendly and very specific.
Multiple Intelligence Survey

This survey highlights a learner’s strengths in line with the different types of intelligence. Every category touches on a learner’s preferences in daily activities, the arts, study habits, and presentations. The LDRC promotes this tool to help individuals learn more about new educational tools and learning disabilities.
Learning Profile Inventory

This inventory compiles topics from classroom activities to daily life and relationships. It aims to gather information about a learner’s preferences and routine. Evidently, there is no right or wrong answers to every category. The Education Coalition uses this tool to research about effective learning strategies beyond reading and listening to lectures. I personally like the organization and realism in this inventory’s design.
