No kidding, after a 6 month coding effort porting, cleansing and
reconfiguring the data for an MRP system to system load. The Boss and
his people said we had to do it all over again because HE forgot to
include some field codes he wanted. Well the problem was that we had
already changed the data model in one of the source databases so we
couldn't do another porting dump. After putting it all back the
original way [we thought] we apparently missed an important data field
and the whole port got screwed. The Boss reamed us out and basicly
called us failures. Really, anyone every heard of a "Code Freeze",
like a scope change, like who in the ding dong would want to work in a
place that runs projects like that anyway! Like know what I mean?
