I just finished reading the Kindle version of VFO, and I have to say
it looks pretty good. Also, I made some corrections to the RSS feed
and these were updated on Kindle within a matter of two hours.
There's one problem with the model Kindle uses, but I think I can work
around it.
Essentially, Kindle takes an rss feed and Kindle-izes it. This means
that the chronological structure of most blog feeds (and VFO) is
imported as-is, and this structure is not as helpful in "book" form
as, say, a hierarchical structure.
Part of this is owing to the nature of RSS/Atom, which does not permit
nested items. However, because Kindle reads the feed as is, I can
create a special RSS for Kindle, using certain <item> elements to
*appear* as if the <item> elements following them are nested inside of
them.
But the bottom line for now is that it reads on Kindle pretty well.
