Ron references Nabokov's Ada or Ardor, specifically the "texture of
time". *Ada,* while an erotic story, has a science-fiction subplot
and was I believe one of the first if not the first "alternative
universe" novels. Incestuous ... relations between Van and Ada Veen
(and a great deal of banter), two young geniuses on a planet like ours
but not, and which has rumored knowledge of ours under the name of
Terra.
I was wondering if Ron would comment on this thread in Ada and the
theory of Reverse Reincarnation introduced in chapter one of
*Biographers.* -- And also whether or not he plans to develop this
into a full-fledged subplot. Specifically, was the texture-of-time
allusion meant to foreshadow the introduction the RR theory?
Feel free to tell me I ask too much ...
