URBAN PLATFORM Action for 2018

Dear All,

I have been thinking about how the URBAN PLATFORM can make a difference in 2018 and found out that the best answers will be to provide strategic and practical actions and solutions to the day to day problems being faced by the Ghanaian urban settler. And invariably, the best way is to pick certain key things done wrong and to offer specific solutions and answers and by this, we can see how practical and solutions-oriented the platform will be offering.

For instance, as I move along the Tema Motorway Roundabout to Dawhenya, about 200meters from the roundabout, I see the ASKOSOMBO Rail-Link being developed. And I am very very sure that there is no other way available than to let the HIGH-SPEED RAIL pass through this busy international dual-carriageway. I find this quite difficult to believe and hope that these are the specific things that the Engineers, Planners and City Designers can bring up for discussions and also into the public domain for PRACTICAL ACTIONS and ANSWERS or SOLUTIONS found to this.
