Folks,
I copied this from Graphic.com.gh (with a few revisions that I could remember) and I thought it was quite informative.

Tony, the media only remembers architects, engineers and other professionals of the built-environment during the rainy season. Massa Ohene, sorry for your loss oo.

An older engineer taught me that planning a development is useless in the dry season. You have to wait for the rainy season. The problems with the site become obvious. This is our opportunity to know Accra's problems too.

Nii,

Planning without counting your five fingers is useless:

Finger 1:-  Data collection and collation;
Finger 2:-  Data analysis and synthesis;
Finger 3:-  Evaluation of development options;
Finger 4:-  Detailed design and implementation of selected option; and
Finger 5:-  Monitoring and Evaluation.

We don't seem to have time to count our 5 fingers before we plunge into project implementation, usually based on flawed analysis.
