A More Correct Correction of Seventh ChoDeSh Cycle

This Upcoming ShaBaTON (a Special and additional ShaBaT) ZiKRON TeRU'AH MiQR'AH (a memorial of Blowing Trumpets Convocation) The 1st day of Seventh ChoDeSh Cycle.. and Indeed this Whole ChoDeSh Cycle is Extremely Problematic!

 

As you have seen me say.. The Only Scriptural Anchors for Fixing the ChoDeSh Cycle are:

 

Firstly: BeReShIT Genesis 1:14 - actually the whole Chapter as it Describes Clear Divisions of Time and distinctions.. It is INDEED a SETTING To ORDER! But here we See the Specific Role of Sun and Moon and mention of stars..

 

Second: The WORD ChoDeSh and Comparison of its Related Roots.. It is Rebuilding.. it is Also Sharp.. a bit of a Riddle.. and has a sense of Both and Also a Joining.. UNITY. -I will add that this day is not listed as MO'aD and so requires no Signal.

- Which divorces us a bit from New Crescent Observation.

 

Third: and Most Important is the Word KeSeH in Psalm 81:3 which describes a Full Moon on PeSaCh which is the 14th after sunset. This being a Visual Signal for The ChaG and the ShaBaT on 15th.. So Thus I say Full Moon on 14th/15th of each ChoDeSh Cycle is the Only Scriptural Anchor that Ties the Phase to MO'aD (ShaBaT)..

The First Crescent Camp seem to Reject this but I don't See How...  then theres the Cojunctionists on the other side... IaHUeH Did Say not to go to the Right or the Left... but then IaHUShUA said He Prefers hot or cold to LukeWarm... I don't see a contradiction here... The Latter is WishyWashy while the Former is Not Lost.

 

Anyway: The Problem with Seventh ChoDeSh Cycle is That in Order to Make All the Days Fit Into that Cycle We Have to start on 10/8/10.. the 29 days should all Start in the Same ChoDeSh Cycle.. it seems OK to let the 30th dangle since it is not a Week Day.. and also Not a Week Day is RoSh ChoDeSh so they can be in that Unseen Area... It are the Week Days that are Significant.

If I started on 10/9/10 as I had Originally Projected The Day of Conjunction Looks like it Would have been the day before the fourth ShaBaT which doesnt seem right..

but on looking Closer it is at night that the moon goes into conjunction and On The Temple Mount it is the Next Morning.. So Thanks To A DEAR Sister Leah for Calling me on Trying to Change what I was First Given. (not without Struggling)

 

We Still have time for discussion... But I think I should Change it Back...

10/8 is what I calculated..Did you notice that all the days on the Gregorian for Shabat then are 8,15,22, and 29? Kewl huh? Love ya,Pamela

I have been over and over it and don't see a better way for it to work... Perhaps you could point out my error? Can you explain a preference for the 8th?

 I thought I had it set but then I was looking at the calendar at http://www.yhrim.com/Lunar_Solar_Calendar_5992_-_2010-2011_GMT_-_Updated.pdf which I do from time to time to see if we are still in Sync.. which we usually are.. but this time not so.. they are starting on 10/8/10. So I took another Closer look at ours.. and it did look funny.. I tried to fix but then it was off.. so I went back to 10/9/10 .. I Really Tried.. But this is The Correct Day. Even the Fact that Ours is a Specially UNIFIED Calendar with Temple Mount and sometimes split a difference here or there we make sure that KeSeH Moon lines up with 14th/15th best as possible.. by Starting 10/9/10 we have that best.. see below for data.

 

Yes We Do Change it Back 10/9/10 Is ZiKRON TeRU'AH MiQR'AH and the 1st of the Seventh ChoDeSh Cycle.. Determining Factor was the Beginning.. Even though We don't Always have to see the First visible Crescent after day one and it's Sunset it Is Good when we do it is an Early indicator that we are on track.. on 10/8 the moon sets around 10 minutes after sunset and won't be visible except South America and the south of Africa..  Clincher of course is that KeSeH Moon and it also Fits quite nicely 14th/15th by starting on 10/9. On 10/22/10 at Temple Mount Moonrise is around 38 minutes before sunset.. next morning Moonsets around 14 minutes after sunrise.. This Makes the day of 10/23/10 the perfect candidate for ShaBaT .. interestingly on 10/23/10 Moon still rises one minute before sunset .. I think this may be due to the difference between "Geocentric" and and "Mean" Full Moon.

 

The Old Crescent moon will not be seen on 10/7/10.

Yes... Well one of the methods used for determination -the old Crescent.. usually works well.. but I am finding No Fixed Solid Rules.. only The Anchor.. Full-Moon on the 14th/15th... When I made the mistake of Trying to change I was Overlooking that Fact..

I am sorry for the Confusion... But this is the Way it Has to be... I tried..

 

The old moon will be 10/6/10 .. Conjunction on 10/7/10 .. if it were a Fixed Rule then we would have to start on 10/8/10.. but first crescent on the 1st Day is also a rule.. though misunderstood it is more established.. Where the trouble came was folk Demanded a Visual Signal for RoSh ChoDeSh and there Does not Have to Be one.. (Not MO'aD).. and what fun is a riddle if you already know the answer.  -Mean Conjunction for both my local area and Temple MountAre Both AFTER The DAY Portion of 10/7/10 which is our 29th of Sixth ChoDeSh.. Making Next Day The Day of Conjunction. I am RELYING on DAYLIGHT Portions and CORRECT Beginnings.
