Hmmm .... you hypocrites are so much worried about giving capital punishment "legally"  after conviction for rape and murder etc in S.Arabia. But When America with their hellfire missiles brutally murder and rape our poorest of poor Muslims living in their mud huts in the remote mountains, claiming they are a threat to America ... you only clap and dance at it  ....  Mona yakagey neethiyada bung ...

This is, perhaps, why there is a saying "Sinhalaya Modaya" .... Is this what Buddhism stands for? Then, we don't need that Buddhism anywhere in the world.

The Principle We Operate On The principle we operate on is to send the poorest of the poor and the most innocent of the innocent to the most barbaric country in the world so that politicians can enjoy the personal benefits with that money stained with blood, sweat and tears.

Dr. Susantha Goonatillake described to us the degree of poverty and squalor in India that no other country in the world has and even India does not send her citizens to Saudi Arabia. That is the respect India has for their citizens and for India herself even though they live in squalor. Let alone India not even a country much better off like Muslim Indonesia  sends any of her citizens to that inhuman barbaric country.

Perhaps if Sinhale' also threatens to decapitate Muslims for witchcraft etc for putting up unlawful Muslim buildings - and for practising the worship of idols and a non-existing 'god' - these attacks on Sinhelas can be stopped.

Sinhale' should STOP sending our poor people as slaves (who are often forced to become prostitutes there!) to these Muslim countries. Earlier when our country had high unemployment rates, this might have been becessary. But now that the central Bank has reported that the rate of unemployment is just 4%, there is NO justification to send our people to engage in such degrading jobs. (In the UK the rate of unemployment is around TWENTY percent - but no-one would even think of going abroad to work in similar conditions!

Probably the 13 year old girl started behaving as a normal human being unlike the Saudi Muslims who impose capital punishment for walking past someone. This is the dizziest height of absurdness.

The 'majestic religion'

Saudi Arabia: Beheadings for ‘witchcraft’

Members of Magic Movement, a group of young Bangladeshis, staged a mock execution scene in protest of Saudi Arabia beheading of eight Bangladeshi workers in front of National Museum in Dhaka October 15, 2011 (Reuters / Andrew Biraj)
A Sri Lankan woman is currently facing decapitation by sword on a witchcraft charge in Saudi Arabia, in accordance with Wahhabism, a strict form of Sunni Islam. The UN reports executions tripled in the kingdom in 2011.
A Saudi man complained that in a shopping mall his 13-year-old daughter “suddenly started acting in an abnormal way, which happened after she came close to the Sri Lankan woman,” reports the daily Okaz.
After the local man denounced the Sri Lankan for casting a spell on his daughter, police in the port city of Jeddah found it sufficient cause to arrest the woman.
Witchcraft and sorcery imply only one measure in Saudi Arabia – beheading. And it works this way in practice: last year in the kingdom at least two people – a woman in her 60s and a Sudanese man – were beheaded on witchcraft charges.
In the absolute monarchy that Saudi Arabia is, a criminal code does not exist per se. Court sentences are based on Islamic Sharia law on the interpretation of judges.

No sticking your neck out under Sharia law

Capital punishment is applied regularly and indiscriminately to locals and foreign citizens.
According to Sharia law, crimes that imply capital punishment are numerous. It could be anything from murder and terrorism to apostasy, idolatry and blasphemy.
Still, Sharia law leaves a loophole for those who have money. In the case of murder, the “eye for an eye” principle of Islamic law allows capital punishment to be replaced with Diyya (“Blood money”) ransom paid by the family of the killer – if the bereaved family agrees.
In oil-rich Saudi Arabia, the number of wealthy citizens is off the chart and the sum of Diyya could reach millions of dollars. But for those millions of guest workers who do most of the work in Saudi Arabia, this is definitely not an option. In case they are found guilty of a capital crime, execution by beheading is the only option left to them under Sharia law.
The beheading of Indonesian national Ruyati binti Sapubi in 2011 sparked a widely-discussed scandal. The 54-year-old woman, who worked as a maid, was sentenced to death after she confessed of murdering her employer with a kitchen knife after suffering abuse.
With about 1.5 million Indonesians working in Saudi Arabia, many of them as maids, the ruling caused an outcry in Indonesia, which even considered banning its women from working in the kingdom. After the Saudi Arabian ambassador officially apologized for the incident, the initiative was left in oblivion.
The cases of mistreatment of maids, who came in waves to Saudi Arabia in the recent past, received a different attitude of national justice. In April 2011, a Saudi woman convicted of torturing her Indonesian maid successfully had her conviction quashed on appeal.
In January 2012 the United Nations human rights office expressed concern with increased number of executions in Saudi Arabia. Compared to 2010 when 26 people got capital punishment rulings for various crimes, in 2011 there have been 76 executions in the kingdom.
Among the beheaded were at least three women and 11 foreigners.

Hooligans at work - Attack on Masjid by Buddhist Monks in Sri Lanka during Friday Prayer ...

I am addressing the well mannered, compassionate, kind hearted Buddhists of my beautiful country, Sri Lanka. I can easily categorize the vast majority in to this group. We live peacefully amongst them in our villages. As I see less than ten Buddhists in this forum are displaying their most heinous racist mentality ... but the rest of the >50,000 recipients of my mails silently read my comments and I am sure most of them acknowledge the truth of what I write here though they are not yet ready to embrace them all immediately. Why I say this is because not one of these few "racist" vulgar Buddhists had the ability to defend Buddhism against my effort to uplift Buddhism and dignify Buddha to a true height by showing numerous similarities between our great religions. Know that every drop of alcohol your community consumes disgraces Buddha.

I have given unwavering evidences to back up my claim of similarities of our two religions .... Not one time did I disgrace Buddha or his teachings ... This is the up bringing of a Muslim by its extremely high level of morality interwoven in to its theology by Allah the Almighty God. But exactly the opposite behavior shown by racists like (Quack)Dr Victor, Wimal, Mahesh, Chanaka, Brindley etc etc .... and the Monks who attacked an innocent community while they were in Friday prayer ..... The vulgarism displayed by these Buddhists are shameful and in the international arena it is most degrading and lowly ... not for Islam but for Buddhism ... Already the video  clips of these hooligan monks at work are in circulation among Arab organizations. Don't blame the Arabs for their indifference to your damsels and drivers who are here to get a share of their black gold wealth. Victor calls them "disgraceful traffic in the so-called 'housemaids'. If you traffic them for "wealth" can you blame the Arabs? But what will you do as a nation if the flow of Billions in to the country will dry out .... But I never see them (maids) like "slaves" when they return home dressed in glittering dresses, dangling in gold chains and bangles, with laughter and shameful stories ... packing their bags with duty free expensive bottles of whiskey ... it saddens to see they treat this "filth", as we Muslims see it, more sacred than they would treat their Buddha. This is the pathetic state of Buddhism today.

Coming back to the topic .... this racist actions is nothing but the feeling of superiority coming from the sudden victory over the Hindu terrorism. But they forgot the days when the Run-singha's drove over pavements when someone shouted "Tigers are in Colombo." Now they got this false courage and want to take the innocent minority Muslims to task by their disgraceful acts of demolishing places of worship. Perhaps they learnt it from the extremist Hindus in India.

So please know that presence of Muslims in SL does not pose any threat to Buddhists. Let us live as peaceful people. Of course there are criminals and drug dealers among Muslims. Treat them thru' legal means ... Don't mix it up with Islam. Islam is the most peaceful religion with stringent rules of a Justice system which won hearts of millions. You have a lot to learn from us ... Our society is basically "Liquor Free", "Caste Free", "Fornication & adultery Free" Which are three major cause of failure & disaster among Buddhist / Christian communities. We are governed by "Divine" laws which are taken quite seriously by the majority of Muslims. As most of you claim, (which I disagree), that Buddhism doesn't impose any rules ...This has resulted in the destruction of morality among Buddhists. No one can advise the other not to drink alcohol since everyone drinks. Even the monks are enslaved in to it. Only a Buddhist or a Christian who embraces Islam can stop alcohol overnight with out any exaggeration. An alcohol free society has to be a great society. A sober society has to be a prized possession for a nation.

Their claim that Buddha didn't impose strict rules doesn't stand the ground when you see the scriptures. But when I ask them "Doesn't the description of "Apaya" or Hellfire by Buddha for "bad" behavior ... means the rules are imposed? Their only reply for this is the "abuse of our Prophet(pbuh)"  Yes when Buddha said ... if you do evil you will be roasted in Hell after death for long periods ... it is an imposed law for the one who takes his master seriously. In this sense Buddhism failed but Islam succeeded and is embraced by millions with passion. Islam also considers life with respect .... this is why we procreate more ... we do avoid getting pregnant but never go for the option of abortion as it is considered murder punishable in "Apaya" or Hell ... No different to what Buddha said ...

Victor's claim that we multiply by birth is pure IGNORANCE. He should know that Islam has been the religion for most reversion for centuries .... with good reasons ... So trying to erase Islam by false vilification will not do any good ... but if you try to understand it ... I am sure you will stand to appreciate and respect  it though you may not opt to embrace it.

So please educate your monks not to get involved in destructive life ... they have a solemn duty to accomplish ... and don't justify their evil actions as these mahadena muttas are doing ... We have had too many muttas in our society ... Islam will grow as ever ... Europe and America cannot stop it ... because of its power of truth ... these Monks cannot either ... but only thing they can do is bring mayhem among our society ... tit for tat killings and destruction will be the end result. And we will be once again moving backward as we did for the past 30 years .... Arabs will look for Africa for their needs ... we will have take the begging bowl to IMF & WB for our survival ... Muslim votes against war crimes charges for whatever reasons gave respect for our nation .... why can't you appreciate it ... Arabs have given large donations for road and housing projects in our country ... Do you insult those help ... If your behavior is such how will we survive in a globalized world today ...

You live and let others live ... stop wasting your energy on trying to stop others developing and try to put that energy to develop yourselves. I have written many times how Buddhists can become successful like Muslims in business by imitating Muslims ... take those tips and raise your standards rather than spending your energy in bringing down the Muslims.

Justice is an important part of the religion of God Almighty. Whoever falters in it ... He will let him destroy himself. It applies to all ... Gaddafi faltered in his justice ... he got back his justice .... Asad will have the same result Insha Allah ... Allah's justice is "razor sharp". Remember this ... He doesn't favor Muslims in in-justice ... He is more strict with Muslims. And the final Judgment is inevitable ... No one will be treated unjustly. then.

The false propaganda by the Zionist driven Western media has fooled some of these good Buddhists too. You should ask the question ..." If Islam is so evil why should such large nos in the west embrace Islam?" It is common allegation that "Islam makes slaves out of women" If this is so why should 3 out of 4 western converts be women? Please give your intellect a chance and do justice to it .... People like Victor and his clan are jokers in our eyes ... their arguments have no value ... Victor's advice for his "Mahadena Mutta" gang is to insult and write filth about our Prophet (pbuh) ... to counter my arguments ... My argument is nothing but to recognize the similar nature of our two great religions ... why is he so reluctant to acknowledge facts and so aggressive against Islam ... Do you know why ... if they acknowledge this "TRUTH" the only option for Buddhists today is to embrace Islam. For indeed it is the religion which Buddha himself advised you to follow when "Maithriya" will come .... But no one would dare analyze my evidence based arguments. Their reply is "vulgar". This is truly shameful. But for me and the wise Buddhists it is acknowledgment.

MEMO
SUBJECT: Muslim Problem in Sri Lanka
DATE: 22/04/2012

In his post below Wimal Ediriwira has made three "replies" to the comments I had made on the post by Niyas Abbas (writing this time as "Yasin"). Before answering Wimal's so-called "replies" I will make the point of my original post clearer as it seems to have eluded Wimal and possibly others who had read my post.
Niyas had reposed supreme confidence on MR and Gota that they will do the right thing by the Muslims. My position is that the current regime is beholden to the Muslims as it is from Muslim countries that they get a sizable proportion of their revenue (through the disgraceful traffic in the so-called 'housemaids'). Also the Muslim countries voted against the recent UNHRC resolution tabled by the US and 40 other countries. In the latter case the Muslim countries were defending their own position as the greatest Human Rights violators rather than simply showing solidarity with Sri Lanka. Also SL's greatest supporters (other than China) seem to be Muslim despotisms like Iran, Pakistan etc. It is this support that Niyas Abbas is relying on and Wimal is completely silent on this which was the principal point in my reply to Abbas. It will be noticed that the recent agitation against the Muslims as in the case of the Dambulla Mosque was led by monks and other Hela nationalists, not directly by GOSL. Now for Wimal's replies.

Wimal's Reply No. 1

Here Wimal does not question my claims of GOSL support for Muslim extremism but merely excuses it on the ground that other countries like the UK are doing the same thing. I am not denying that many European countries had adopted a pro-Islamic position under the multiculturalism policy. This has been clearly shown by the Brevik Manifesto even though Brevik set about demonstrating it in the wrong way. But there are differences. Most of the European countries have sufficient power to thwart the Muslim advance whereas Sri Lanka due to its military and economic subservience is completely at the mercy of International Islam. Besides other countries do not do the disgraceful 'housemaid trade' with Muslim countries. This itself is proof of the powerlessness, mendicancy and immorality of the SL regime.
On corruption neither the UNP nor any other country is completely free from it. The question is the scale and openness with which it is practiced. On these grounds few regimes previously in SL or elsewhere can can match it. Even in countries like the US prominent people have been jailed for corruption, but not in SL where it is openly practiced by the highest in the land.

Wimal's Reply No. 2

Here Wimal accuses me of using 'terrorist slogans' but as he has not given a single example of such a slogan I think this is a meaningless charge, and must be treated with the contempt it deserves.
He then goes on to question my comments on chauvinism pleading that he does not understand what it means. Any dictionary will give a simple definition like that it is extravagant pride in one culture combined with excessive contempt for some other cultures.  The problem here is when this pride and contempt turns into physical violence and killing. I have argued that the so-called ethnic problem in Sri Lanka is simply a clash between two chauvinisms, Tamil chauvinism directed at the Helas and Hela chauvinism directed at the Tamils. Both have fed on each other, but which came first is a moot question. The evidence for this is seen in the recent history of the country particularly after the "Hela Revolution" of 1956. Barely two years later it led to the first communal riots of 1958 and things got progressively worse until the riots of 1982 and the Eelaam war. Then the matter has become a military conflict until the defeat of the LTTE in 2009. But the end of the military conflict has not meant the end of the ethnic conflict. This has even been recognized even by the LLRC report though in a somewhat diluted form. It has now entered the international arena after the UNHRC resolution and how this will progress is anyone's guess.

Wimal's Reply No. 3

This relates to my comments on economic matters. If Wimal has complete faith in Central Bank statistics he is certainly entitled to have this faith. But most people will assess economic uplift not in terms of alleged growth rates but how it affects their living standards and employment prospects. It has been estimated that several million Sri Lankans have left the country, some as refugees with a right of return, others migrated out or are working abroad with temporary work permits. Besides the country has to stay solvent by obtaining loans from the Chinese, the IMF, etc. not to mention the foreign aid which it never declines.  The national debt cannot be repaid for several generations. Unlike the US debt which is denominated in their national currency and can be repaid by printing notes the SL debt is denominated in foreign currency which has to be earned. This foreign exchange comes (apart from the traditional exports which are declining)  from the earnings of aforementioned foreign workers, the manufacture of low technology products like garments, and foreign tourists. Ironically the principal source for the latter two is not China but the West which is reviled by both Helas and GOSL.
Wimal says that Western newspapers criticize their governments on many matters including their economic performance. This is because of the freedom of the Press that exists in those countries. In SL most of the press is a "kept press" and we know what happens to journalists who expose the defects.  Besides the success of a country is not given by what the Press says but by the real economic independence and living standards in the country.  SL had barely progressed out of the LDC status. Let alone the West it compares badly even with other Asian countries like Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia not to mention countries like Korea, Japan and even Vietnam. The only thing that distinguishes the country is the virulence of the ethnic and religious hatreds which is one of the principal causes why the country remains a mendicant country even two generations after Independence. But ironically it is not the Helas who are blamed but the colonial powers who are a distant memory and the vast bulk of the people have grown up after independence.
Wimal is probably a poodle used to to the crumbs thrown by his 'paymasters' from their ill-gotten gains. This is why he seems to think that others are also like him. He is well-known as the principal of the 'London Sinhela Centre' (perhaps another of those one-man-bands set up to rort the UK social service system).  Now he has also added another title as a spokesperson for a so-called 'Buddhist National Movement for the Restoration of Democracy'.  At least this seems to acknowledge that Democracy has been overridden in Sri Lanka and needs to be restored. This is certainly correct but I doubt whether he will be successful in this task. In fact it is the very ideology of the London Sinhela Centre that is the principal obstacle to the restoration of democracy in Sri Lanka.

As usual, VG comes out with a rubbish-list of nonsense which takes a lot of time to demolish:

1. VG Says: "Muslims have no better ally in SL than MR and Gota.  This is because the regime in Sri Lanka is totally without any moral basis.  All they seek is more and  more money to fuel their insatiable corruption and nepotism. Much of this comes from Muslims."
REPLY:
i.                    VG talks as if these phenomena are peculiar to Sinhale". In fact the same things are very common in the rest of the world " and the UK is a good example.
ii.                  As for the corruption he talks about, he appears to have been conveniently sleeping during the UNP regimes.
2. VG says: "In Sri Lanka the main chauvinism is directed against the Tamils not the Muslims."
REPLY:
i. VG has got so accustomed to repeating Tamil terrorist slogans that he seems to be in their pay.

ii. He accuses the government of welcoming and tolerating Muslims and that its "new found masters are the Chinese with whom they have nothing in common culturally. "
  1. In those statements he reveals that it is HE who is a chauvinist!
  2. The claim that "In Sri Lanka the main chauvinism is directed against the Tamils not the Muslims"  also reveals an ignorance of the meaning of "chauvinism" " at least the Tamils DELIBERATELY misuse it and other terms for their own chauvinist purposes, ultimately aimed at neo-colonialist seizure of territory in the Island.
  3. A government or a nation which is fighting against an invader CANNOT be accused of chauvinism. In fact, if either does not, they would lose the territory to chauvinist invaders and, in the case of the government, would be in violation of the Constitution which imposes on it the duty of protecting the territory and other possessions of the Nation.
3. VG states: "I note that some people in this thread are boasting about the economic miracle in SL. Most of this is supported by the doctored statistics emanating from the Central Bank. The country is totally hocked to China and the Western countries."
REPLY:
i.                    This comment reveals VG"s frog-in-the-well-type ignorance of what is happening in the rest of the world. In fact, pick up ANY Western (including of the USA) newspaper and VG"s comment (except the "and the Western countries" part) "is exactly what they all state about their own governments.
ii.                  VG needs to go around the Island a bit (instead of writing blindfolded from Australia) to actually see the economic miracle in Sinhale". I have just come back after tours in many parts of the Island and having seen the amazing changes.
iii.                The Central Banks" figures about the 8% GDP and the 4% unemployment rate are NOT inventions " they are recognised even by the IMF! They are also seen in real life all over the Island. In comparison, in the UK the GDP is around 2% and the unemployment is around 20%!
iv.                As regards hiss comment about "the soaring cost-of-living" in Sinhale", VG is, yet again, writing with his frog-in-the-well-type perspective from his Australian fox-hole which reveals his ignorance of what is happening in Sinhale" " as well as his ignorance of the "the soaring cost-of-living", soaring unemployment and soaring national indebtedness situations in the major countries of the West. VG has not changed at all from his blindfolded-donkey-set-in-one-direction-by-his-paymasters attitude which he has been displaying for the last so many years.

When Niyas Abbas says (below) that recently MR opened a "big mosque", and that he and Gota will "sort this out" what he says is perfectly correct.  Muslims have no better ally in SL than MR and Gota.  This is because the regime in Sri Lanka is totally without any moral basis.  All they seek is more and  more money to fuel their insatiable corruption and nepotism. Much of this comes from Muslims.

Niyas knows that one of the most lucrative sources of revenue for the SL regime is the money coming form the trade in slavery with Muslim countries where the victims are usually desperate women. The regime is incapable of providing useful work for millions of SL workers and they are sent to these places to earn blood money for the benefit of the regime. In order to do this the Muslims are welcome and tolerated in Sri Lanka.  The poodles of the regime are naturally is totally behind this policy.

There has been very little attention given to the trial of Anders Behring Brevik  in Norway. What Brevik says is totally relevant to Sri Lanka as well.  It is not the Muslims who are at fault. It is the politicians in Europe (and Sri Lanka) who are tolerating Muslim activity in their countries.  The main difference is that Mulsims migrate in large numbers to Europe welcomed by the politicians. There is no mass migration to SL as the country is nearly bankrupt and cannot even provide employment to its citizens. But in both places the main method of colonization is by breeding at a rate greater than the rest of the population.  The Muslims know that this strategy will ultimately result in a Muslim majority when Sharia will be imposed.

In Sri Lanka the main chauvinism is directed against the Tamils not the Muslims. This is despite the fact that most things that the Helas boast about has come from India, even from the Tamils. They have contributed almost nothing on their own. Their new found masters are the Chinese with whom they have nothing in common culturally.  The regime ans its poodles willingly accept them as the master race, next only to the Muslims.

I note that some people in this thread are boasting about the economic miracle in SL. Most of this is supported by the doctored statistics emanating from the Central Bank. The country is totally hocked to China and the Western countries. The bulk of the people are groaning under the soaring cost-of-living which the leaders live a life of luxury and some of their ill-gotten wealth filters to the stooges and poodles.

BBC reporter Charles didn't tell the real truth about the radical terror monks. These are terrorist monks. They are supposed to go around begging for their food. Now they are on killing spree. Buddhism has gone to dogs. It lost it's worth.

This is why we say Islam is the way forward. Recently MR (our President) opened a big mosque. I am sure he & Gotabaya will sort this out. They are quite reasonable people. Even our PM dimu is reasonable fortunately. Sure we Muslims will build a bigger Mosque there if any harm will come to this mosque. there is nothing called sacred land there. This mosque over 50 years old. It is built on our land. Your temple should go to courts and prove they are the owners. This is the civilised way.

Thuggarism will only bring terrorism. There is no alternative. If your temple resort to hooliganism instead of meditation don't cry later when Muslims defend their rights.
