Subhanallah .... for a Buddhist like you this beautiful starving helpless child is a joke ....This is why I find Buddhism didn't do it's job. Islam does. I wish that child was me ... Insha Allah he
will be granted Jennah .... and amply compensated for his suffering here ...This child is but a test for others .... this is the promissed mercy of Allah. And the child will be too happy that it happened to him when he sees Jennah. The life in this world is but less than the time for a wink of the eye compared to the eternal life of hereafter.
So I pray that Allah grant the status of that beautiful child to me and grant me too his reward in Jennah.
For Bawwa ... if you die in your current state your life will be left with this little duration only .... you will have nothing but pain in the hereafter for eternity. This is mentioned in Tripitake too. So take good care .... Study Islam with sincerity and humbleness ... then, you will find the religion which Buddha brought is nothing but Islam today .... and the Maithriya he asked you to follow is none but Muhammed (pbuh). This is your salvation. Millions are embrasing it ....
You too have the option to do it now and benefit from the mercy of Allah.
