There is enough food to go around ... but the problem is the distribution .... Allah has guaranteed food for all creatures ont his planet... his test is to see who will share his excess food withhis fellow beings ....

Islam has a very effective way ... ZAKAT & SADAQA - Compulsory and optional charity system ... if the Buddhists and chrsitians and Hindus will join this scheme ... we can even have 10 children in a family and every one can still sleep with a bellyful every night.

See how Majestic Islam is .... Can you compare this to any other religion on this planet ... No never ...

Now, you are talking like another Robert Thomas Malthus:

In order to have a clear understanding of Malthus’ ‘Principle,’ it is necessary to look closely at the logic underlying his argument. He stated that population increases ‘geometrically’ or exponentially and that subsistence increases arithmetically. Thus, population increases along the order of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32..., whereas subsistence limps along at the rate of 1, 2, 3, 4, …. .

The Practical Failure of Malthus

Fortunately for mankind, the dire prophecies of Malthus never arrived. Mitigating factors such as technological developments, agricultural developments, changes in societal organization, and changes in governmental policies, among other things, enabled humanity to avoid a situation where the number of people was greater than the capacity to sustain them. Malthusian theory then fell to the wayside as a result. These factors, coupled with a prevailing attitude of progress borne out of this period of frenetic economic development, expansion and invention, brought about the quiet demise of the Malthusian contention.

In Islam, we believe it is ALLAH, who is the nourisher and who feeds us. We build families, societies and a nation through bringing up children. They are the future. MY RESPONSE:

It is currently estimated that there is, or there will be shortly, six billion humans inhabiting the planet earth(1). The theme of population, and more specifically, overpopulation has been in the popular mind for the last thirty years or more. Schools, national governments, international legislative bodies, interest groups and the media have all but insured that the public sees the issue of population as a problem, and increasingly, in reference to natural resources and the environment. At the heart of the population-resources-environment debate lies the question: can the earth sustain six billion or more people? How one answers this question depends greatly on whether or not one sees population as a problem.
Is population a problem? Some would argue that yes, population is a problem in that the earth is limited, that it can only sustain a certain number of people (although no one knows what that particular number may be), that the more numerous we become, the poorer we will become. Others argue that no, population is not a problem, but that it is government policies, economic structures and the organization of society that is the problem. Some contend that numbers in themselves do not equal poverty; rather, poorly structured societies and economies foster poverty.
How people perceive the issue of population is critical, for it is by these perceptions that international legislative policies are formed, economic development packages are crafted, federal social and economic programs are formulated, and local sex education classes are designed. Thus, it is equally critical that people ensure that their perceptions are grounded, not in rhetoric and emotion, but in established scientific and empirical data. An accurate understanding of the data will enable people to think and act rationally with regard to population on a local, state, national, and international level.

They were given 24 hours to leave Jaffna. Did you forget Kanthkuddy Massacre, Muttur Massacre?
It is unfair and unreasonable to talk about Muslims belief and your suggestion that they should be wiped out of Sri Lanka. It is a very derogratory remark on Muslims afterall Muslims were one of the pillars to wipe out Terrorism in Sri Lanka. So, please be careful in what you say.

Muslim population can grow if it wants, who really cares?
You are right about wealth--one of my pals in Canada, Said tells me that the 1st one was a cultivator (Moses), then came the animal breeder (Jesus) then came the trader and the warrior (Muhammad), so trading is the mainstay in the world, and Muslim population grow. He also says that Muslim population grow because they keep the women in a inferior place in life, even though it is the woman, who can propose marriage to a man in Islam.

He also says that one day, the Muslims would fight each other and eliminate a whole bunch of Muslims, which is happening right now--no need to mention peace here as it is not available in any of the Muslim countries.

In the month of Ramadan, how many Muslims were killed by the Muslims in the world? In Libya, using the Christian made weapons, the so-called rebels and the Gaddafi faction killed each other. Now, what is the 1st sentence in the Qu'ran? How come the humans usurp the right of your Allah to kill his own children? Was there any such thing called Sharia law in the Qu'ran? Is it man made and made only for the men, not for the women? How many of you really give credit to Islam and give the right place for your women? Do you know that Muhammad got up when his daughter walked into the premises? And how many of you would get up when a woman come in? How many of you would open the door to women? Why don't you read the Sura Al-Nisa?

By the way, how many Muslim men had given birth to children? See, you can't give birth to another human being--only women can, and they can do that even without touching a man--in vitro. Remember how Jesus (Issa) was born? In-vitro!

So, the god(s) did have scientific abilities to make a woman become pregnant in vitro. The god(s) waged war in the region of today Iraq and the Middle East and made it a barren land today. Was it a nuclear war then?

Now, coming back to Muslims and Islam, they are two different things--just because you are born to a Muslim family and given a Islamic name doesn't mean that you adhere to Islam, does it?

Your father's property, should he leave this world without leaving a will must be divided by the Qu'ranic law, but how many of you give the sisters the amount they should get? How much would the mother get? 1/16?

By the way, Islam prohibits lying, right? So, how may of your Muslim politicians, leaders, doctors, lawyers, traders in this country lie everyday? So, are they Muslim, or should they be excommunicated?

Now, don't try to bring Buddhism in to this--we know that human beings make mistakes, and some do that purposefully, but Buddhism doesn't get into trouble because of that, but the person will, and no one would say it is because of Buddhism.

But, when a Muslim does something bad or good, it is because of the religion, right? How much good you do and how much bad you do?

Can you think of a war going on today, terrorism going on today, without finding Muslims there? LTTE was finished, IRA had become legal, so what about your kind of terrorists?

Finally, if you be pious all your life, you'd get 24 (or 72) virgins without menses and urine in the heaven, but how many of you would be pious, after eating beef and getting the hormones go havoc? It so appears that only Muslims, who could be pious are women, but would they get 24 men virgins without urine and whatever in the heaven? How ludicrous!

So, if you want to talk about Islam, do so, but don't try even to attack Buddhism, for you just can't. We don't have a terrible god to punish us, boiling the bad guys in hell for eternity, you know like Al-Muntaqim, the Lord of Retribution, the Avenger. He is also the Al-Mani, the Preventor of harm, but he can't keep innocents in Afghanistan or Iraq from dieing from IEDs, can he?

So, you keep your religion, cherish it, love it, etc, etc, but don't try to bring down Buddhists and Buddhism. If a monk does something wrong, he'd be punished and no one would say protest. If a Buddhist does something wrong, he'd be punished too by the local law and by his conscience.

Actually, there is no need to reply to this email, for I can find answers in your holy book. Remember, just because you were born into a Muslim family doesn't make you a real follower of Islam!

Moreover we don't use state funds to build mosques ... it is our own money .... and land ....

If Europe will become Muslim then blame the Non-Muslim Europeans who are gays and prostitutes and those men and women are lazy to give birth and raise up children ... they are drug addicts and aids patients and are also busy killing Muslims elsewhere in Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq, Libya etc etc THey have no time to think of children ... ... We Muslims live as normal humans with normal birth rates ... And millions of Non-Muslim nations have seen us and embrace Islam for its vitality and truth. Allah is great - in his name they have killed over 1000 scholar monks of Nalanda and wiped out Buddhism from India. They are killing Buddhist monks and Buddhists in the Chittagong hill tracts on a daily basis until they are wiped out from Bangladesh too. There is no freedom of religion in any Muslim country but they insist on building mosques as soon as they can get together few Muslim families in one small area - in our tiny Buddhist country of SL there were 2500 mosques few years ago but now there are over 10,000 mosques.

Their population is increasing exponentially while Sinhala and Tamil populations are declining. At present, their population is about 14 - 16% but wait till it is 20% to see all the fun and games start. Already in the pre-text of a grease yaka they have started attacking navy quarters' in Kinniya and police stations elsewhere. The GOSL turns a blind eye to all types of extreme provocations as if to say they are in the pockets of this community - even the holy land area of Anuradhapura does not escape their audacious, arrogant and provocative behaviour of temple land grabbing, turning large areas of SL in to "no go Arab cities". They have spent millions importing date trees from Arab to turn places like  Kattankudy into an Arab cities and if we take one small Buddha statue in to an Arab country there will be a big hoo ha and it will go straight into the bin. Their selfishness in producing millions of children to take over the whole world is beyond belief? By 2050, it is predicted whole of Europe will have Muslim majorities and what chance will SL have of staying Buddhist when their population is growing exponentially and the Economic power is already theirs not to mention all the ministers and MPs in the parliament. When they start their Jihad LTTE would seem like angels from heaven. It has already started in places like Puttalam and Kinniya.

Of course the Sinhala people are too busy to notice any of this as they are being distracted by Channel 4, Tamil Diaspora and other such minor distractions that the GOSL wants them to focus on. As there are 58 Muslim countries in the world, thanks to the stupidity of our past and present leaders SL will be the 59th Muslim country not by choice. Jihad or holy wars are NOT necessary if this was the religion of choice for intellectual people.

The setting fire and killing over thousand peaceful scholar monks of Nalanda alone speaks volumes about this great jihadist religion and is enough to put off any person even with a pea brain.

Gambling too is rampant among Buddhists and is not a matter of concern. This which comes under the boastful phares such as .... "Freedom to choose"..... "There are no restrictions in Buddhism" .... Sexual molestation in monasteries is another very common allegation against every single temple ..... Agasinst this background now'consider the Glorious Book of Allah The Quran .... It is a scripture .... Directly Revealed by Allah (The Creator and Lord of this entire Universe) word by word to an illiterate Prophet who never knew to read or write untill his death ... Written down by prominent scribes of that era immediately upon revelation .... Memorized Immediately by its adherents word to word ... Any time in history this Book is memorized by millions from cover to cover ... by even children as young as 6 yrs. I have given a comprehensive comparison between the state of Buddhism and Islam. It is in your hands to comtemplate on it positively rather than keep using vulgar words for Islam. You did ask an important question and I appreciate it .... Let all know this ....

Yes Allah could have made everyone perfect human beings .... He could have made every man smart and every woman beautiful .... He could have made every one rich and made everyone to posses beautiful palaces and gardens .... and be peaceful to each other. But out of His wisdom Allah decided to keep this for life after death .... and for those who will be obedient to His commands on this life. This is what is called the Test.

He did make the Angels, Animals and all his other so called non living creations 100% obedient to Allah who fully submit every second to His laws, spiritual and physical .... Only Man and Jinn are given the freedom to obey or dis-obey with a serious consequence attached. We could either attain a status higher than the Angels or become lower than the animals. Idolators in the eyes of Allah are in the latter category. Sorry for having to tell the truth. This may be the reason why Buddha expressly refused permission to worship idols for his followers.

I did answer your earlier question about why Allah created Homosexuals .... Mahesh Bawwa has conveniently deleted it from this mail ...... Let me copy it here .....

So now is your chance .... choice is yours .... No one is allowed to force with sword or money to choose ... Pristinely pure guidelines are available for humanity ... only with Islam ....it is the Quran ... so don't blame Allalh later when you will be dragged to hellfire like how Buddha too vividly described to us in Majhima Nikaya III. Allah sent you the messangers with the clear message through me and my brothers. Allah is the witness ....

So you will not have the excuse later to say "O Allah, my Lord, I didn't know this! I thought I will be re-born in the world as a stray dog for the crimes like homosexuality I practiced" Then, no pardon will be accepted. No is your chance to correct the situation.

I hope you will be not be like the Jews who kept asking questions after questions and learnt nothing untill they were punished severely.
