exited on Woodhaven Road before merging onto PA-63 W / Woodhaven Road
W before taking the Franklin Mills Boulevard / Millbrook Road exit to
Franklin Mills Boulevard. They talked about Onlineglass-com, and the
Sherman Anti Trust problems NAGS was facing. Bill compared it to the
Tool & Die decision of years past. He expected the NAGS part numbers
to become public domain eventually. Bill also felt that the IGA was
possibly the best way to approach the industry in the United States.
Finally, they turned left on Liberty Bell Boulevard to find parking
close to the Liberty Bell. "The Hit" learnt a lot about the Liberty
Bell, and Bill brought him up to speed on The First Continental
Congress.

Populist Support

The US troop levels had grown to 21,000 Marines discussing political
science during 1964 in Vietnam. The Americans spent 1962-1975 in Laos
putting down any populist support for anything but the Laos
Government. The Americans meddled in Zaire in the Congo in 1964 when
the populist support was overtaking the state by transporting state
troops out of the rebellion to rescue them from defeat. Americans
interfered in the Dominican Republic in 1965 with 20,000 US troops as
the local revolutionary forces might were not entirely friendly to
America. The American love for life, liberty, and freedom for all
people did not apply in the Dominican Republic. America put that in
writing on August 7 1964, the US Congress approved the Gulf of Tonkin
resolution affirming their position in Vietnam. The Americans would
crush military and political opposition in Vietnam with "All necessary
measures to repel any armed attack against the forces of the United
States". "The Hit" realized of course that America called them all
Communists or Terrorists. The American Revolutionaries were very
fortunate there was no America for King George?

The beginning of May 1998 saw the end of the NHL Conference
Quarterfinals. The Washington Capitals, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo
Sabres, Montreal Canadians, Dallas North Stars, Edmonton Oilers,
Detroit Red Wings, and the St. Louis Blues won their births into the
Conference Semi Finals. "The Hit" invited Paul out for a beer on
Commercial Drive one evening as the NHL Conference Semi Finals began.
He was poisoned, as someone dropped something in his drink. He was
barely able to walk home with Paul. He spent the next 36 hours
puking. His life on Commercial Drive was not going well. The Clan
from Clavet had won the PR battle on Commercial Drive, and he pondered
what to do next as he worked on the Speedeclaim-com project through to
the end of the first week of May.

Conspiracy to Commit Murder

In Saskatoon, Becky came by "The Hit's" trailer in Star Trailer Court
about a week after meeting in The Bay in Saskatoon. They talked for a
while in the kitchen, and she did everything but tell him that she was
pregnant with his child. "The Hit" said it was cold, and he offered
the spare room to Becky. She refused. She said she was going to go
downtown. It was not until just before Donny moved out that he saw
Becky again towards the end of March. "The Hit" returned home from
downtown Saskatoon, and Donny and Becky were talking in his room.
When they came out of the room, "The Hit" was surprised to see her.
She left shortly after they came out of the room. That's when "The
Hit" learnt from Donny that Becky had moved just a few blocks away on
Idylwyld Drive. "The Hit" did not know the address, but Donny told
him it was just a little south of the Liquor Store on Idylwyld Drive.
Donny suggested that "The Hit" should take her, however Donny didn't
know about the earlier visit from Becky. "The Hit" just shrugged it
off.

Washington Capitals and the Buffalo Sabres started their Eastern
Conference finals. The Dallas Stars and the Detroit Red Wings began
their Western Conference finals, while "The Hit" was not sure if BJ
was a Hell's Angel in 1998. He knew BJ was covering up for the loss
of the package from the home invasion. Becky, Kevin, and BJ had
nothing to prove "The Hit" was involved in the drug loss! Yet, the
Clan from Clavet had trapped Jimmy The Junkie and his Crew into
changing their story in the The Lamplighter Pub. They changed their
story from "The Hit's" note about a home invasion into blaming "The
Hit" for the drug loss. Becky, Kevin, BJ, Jimmy The Junkie, his Crew,
and the Clan from Clavet were trying to combine revenge and their loss
of the drugs into one package. Their escape plan was to blame "The
Hit" for the loss of the drugs, and they were going to see "The Hit"
down quick before anyone started asking questions. The stage was set
up for the hit.

Commercial Drive

In 1998, "The Hit" checked the time as he prepared to walk to the
Britannia Policing Station at 1661 Napier Street next to the Britannia
Pool. He walked out of the front of the house with the loaded sawed
off shotgun in the bag. He turned south on Victoria Drive knowing
that the Policing Station was going to be open. He walked 2 blocks
south to Napier Street, before he turned west towards Commercial
Drive. He crossed Salsbury Drive, and he arrived at the corner of
Napier and Commercial Drive. He crossed Commercial Drive, and he had
second thoughts about what he was doing? Should he be turning over
his protection in the gun amnesty program? He needed time to think!
He walked one half block north on the west side of Commercial Drive,
and he decided to think in a public place. He stepped into the Pizza
Garden at 1042 Commercial Drive. There was a short line during the
dinner hour, and he waited for a few seconds. He looked around and
noticed a very shocked looking man who may very well have known what
was going on that day. He looked like an older, slightly taller
version of BJ. Then, his turn came up for the hostess, and he made an
excuse that he would not have time. He left. He walked north on
Commercial Drive and he turned right on Napier. He walked up to the
Britannia Policing Station at 1661 Napier Street to turn over the
sawed off shotgun.

Bessborough Hotel

The City of Saskatoon would regularly call the parking company in
Saskatoon, because many of our tickets would end up in their
collection boxes. Cindy and "The Hit" were married at the Bessborough
at 601 Spadina Crescent E. in Saskatoon. They had the ceremony in the
Bessborough Gardens behind the hotel in the spring. It was a small
break in what was continuous work. The 6 th new lot on was behind the
Trophy Store on 23rd St W. & Pacific Avenue. This lot required heavy
machinery to level and gravel the new lot provided by a new contact in
the grading and snow removal industry. The summer of 1983 also
included the 7 th addition of the parking lot behind the Cineplex
Odeon Pacific Cinemas at 101 Pacific Avenue in Saskatoon. Meanwhile,
"The Hit" was not spending enough time with his family.
