Talgin Silverhand - Mail Hauberk
Walker, Half-Orc Ranger - Mail Hauberk
Magnus the Samaritan - Plate mail
Halther - Leather
Talina - None
NPC Mercenaries - Cuir Boille, aka "Leather Plate"
All metal armors are made of steel.
Regarding Talgin's Mail Hauberk, which he "liberated" from that
Hobgoblin elite, I'm now thinking that the hobgoblin was a lot taller
than Talgin, and that Talgin would have had to have chopped off almost
a third of it to make the armor practical. Talgin could easily have
done this while Walker was recuperating from the fight with the
Hobgoblins, but the question is: what happened to the extra mail?
As I see it, Talgin either could have sold it to the armorer at the
keep for 10 gp or or held on to it; in which case he can have the
armorer attach it to his hauberk as a second layer of mail, making it
a Full Coat of Mail. The price of this modification would have to be
negotiated, and would probably take at least a four days to complete.
