[Gm Notes]

Powerful presence (1 Free Use)

Giznat:  Horribly Burned (One free Invocation by Feathil)

[Narrative]

A flash of angry heat comes from the Tiefling’s hand, enveloping the goblin before him.  Feathil notices the Goblin king’s eyes open wide, as she tries to roll out of the way, but to no avail.  The fiery blast catches her square in the chest, enveloping her in flame.

She stumbles back in pain, her tone now  full of anger.  “No fair.  No fair.  We make deal”, she screams, trying to put out her flaming dress.  “Ungar!”

At the same time, Chaos breaks out, as goblins scream and flee, scattering in all directions.  Children wail for their mothers, and women flee, arms in the air.  Some heading for the tunnels, others heading in your direction, picking up sticks and rocks as they come.

[OOC]

As a reminder, you can always use a Fate Point to invoke an aspect for +2.

Next round, Giznat will go first.  Then Nymh, then Feathil, then the rest of the goblins.  For mass combats, there are mob rules, where the lower-level mobs act as one creature.   So, for our purposes, there will be 2 mobs of 10 goblins each.

Note:  You forced Giznat to take a consequence, rather than drop.  She has one – and Feathil gets a free invocation against it.  You don’t have to use it, but if you don’t and she is killed, it goes away.  Remember, it can count either as a +2 or a re-roll if you roll poorly.

Note2:  Remember in FATE there's no movement rate, but zones.  Here, the opening is a zone, and each of the tunnels is a zone.

[Rolls]

Feathil [Evocation]:  4+2 vs  = +4  Succeed  +2

Giznat [??]:

Notes:

Nymh FP : 4

Feathil  FP 4

Giznat  Mild Consequence:  Aspect Horribly Burned,

Feathil. 4 of 14 (no -).

Invoking fate point, and powerful presence if possible. Feathil will
burn her again with evocation +4 and shout out to the goblins, "You
wanted glory in battle young ones. Here it is! Join me and destroy the
one who has held you under her thumb for so long!"

Nymh

(internal monologue as events ramp up:  Weren't we here to supposedly buy goblins? ... Oh, this, is why I work alone...)

Calmly taking his rapier out, he will as smoothly as possible move to a wall, prepared to riposte and basket-hilt punch any goblin that attacks him.

"Remember, these are supposed to end up being our minions, so we shouldn't kill them all
