Description:

We are seeking a skilled IBM DataPower and API Connect Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM DataPower appliances and API Connect infrastructure in a clustered environment. Your expertise in RedHat OpenShift and CP4I will be crucial, as you collaborate with development teams to design and implement API policies and security configurations to ensure the protection of sensitive data and enforce API governance.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower appliances and API Connect infrastructure in a clustered environment, ensuring high availability and load balancing for APIs.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement API policies and security configurations on DataPower and API Connect, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and enforcing API governance.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to DataPower, API Connect, API traffic, and overall system health.
Manage and maintain SSL certificates, cryptographic objects, and security configurations on DataPower devices and API Connect gateway.
Work closely with network and security teams to integrate DataPower appliances and API Connect into the existing infrastructure and enforce security best practices.
Assist in capacity planning and scalability efforts to accommodate future API growth and traffic demands.
Develop and maintain documentation related to DataPower configurations, API Connect setup, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:
Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM DataPower appliances and API Connect infrastructure in a clustered environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with OpenShift and CP4I.
Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to design and implement API policies and security configurations.
Experience in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues related to DataPower, API Connect, and API traffic.
Familiarity with SSL certificates, cryptographic objects, and security configurations on DataPower devices and API Connect gateway.
Knowledge of integrating DataPower appliances and API Connect into existing infrastructure and enforcing security best practices.
Capacity planning and scalability experience to accommodate future API growth and traffic demands.
Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
