wonder which time zone logicalOctopus is in now...

donated our tumble dryer to the canine rescue (for drying shelter blankets in), and am looking forward to the extra bit of cupboard space I'll have in the kitchen now.

 am in the MDT (mountain daylight) timezone which is GMT -7 hours

 wonder why Google makes their Groups website in such a manor that it doesnt run on a Google android device  :(
 wonder if they realize their products' users can't use their products with their other products :/

am relearning how to play the piano with the help of a handy Youtube tutorial .

used to commit random acts of senseless kindness. Jump-started dozens of vehicles, replaced a water pump on an old man's car once in 104 degree heat, pushed a lady with a car full of kids to a gas station (tearing the vinyl off my bumper in the process). Drove another senior 10 miles to get a replacement radiator hose, then put it on for him on the side of the highway. Other things too, but you get the drift.

am not particularly good, or noble, or noteworthy. People used to do this sort of thing all the time. Not for praise or money, just because.
can't do this anymore. One beating, several cussings from wrecker drivers, and an attempted carjacking have driven home an ugly message: common courtesy is neither wanted not appreciated any more.

think it's both wanted and mostly appreciated, and I think it's an important part of civilized society. 

But I've also never been physically or verbally abused in the process of committing a random act of kindness, either. If that happened enough, I suppose it would leave a bad taste in the mouth, alright. :(

somehow doubt that.

am now working on my last rug for a big fundraiser for the dog rescue next weekend. 
Will be happy to have them all done; I had short notice of the bazaar, so have been busting my ass do get some braided up.

see we're just one away from a 4x4 collage, but we need a waaaaaaay bigger collage than that.. the one in 2008 was a 9x8 collage.. let's crank it to at least a 6x6 collage, or a 7x7, or an 8x8, or a 10x10.. lol.

was right! If responders click on the small arrow to the right of the "post reply" button and then on the "reply to author" link, it will post to their email address, which is NOT shown, rather than into the group (this will show a blue "post" button).
 
If responders click on the "post reply button" only, their response  posts to the group (green "post" button).

I accidentally did this to logicalOctopus last week in one of my thread responses.

am having a helluva time getting some of the threads to open. Happens in both Safari and Chrome, so it doesn't appear to be a browser issue.
