Model UN?

Thuy and I had an idea - SSPC, though - the - internet, model UN.  Model UN (united nations) is a club I was in last year at school (there's not one at my high school now), in which each person is assigned a country, they research that country and a given topic, and debate with kids from other schools representing other countries at big conferences.  Do you guys think it'd work to do one through email, with the sspc?

wouldt work to well via email. a more live version would be better, unless signifigant restructuring was to occur

i approve of the idea though

Well, rather than argue via email, we are given countries and the topic and a time and place to meet. The day comes and then we debate. If not, we may need to use skype. How does that sound?

Skype might work - does everyone have a mic?  It'd be very chaotic though, unless we really structure it.

I have a webcam but since we are close by, we can meet. What I worry about most are those who don't live in the DC area.

eh, yeah. keep the nodes to a minimum. for the meetings, those who live in the same area congregate and are connected via skype/video to the others? it would make it happen less often, but so be it.

I would say we still need to expand as much as possible into other areas (we still need to work on that) and that we probably could get skype to work.

Today...is a start of new era. The short tyrannical reign of David the Reich is OVER! With this textual coup, David will be removed from power! In his place, another David Reich will take the place of prime minister! His place will be withheld by our power! Any commands he wishes to place must pass by me, the general of the army and naval forces, Paul, head of foreign relations, and Michael, head of...the banks? Either way, David's power will be restrained by atleast the three of us and our power will be withheld by the other three! Does anyone else want positions? Does anyone have any questions?

We don't really need one but David and I thought it would be a good idea since there isn't anyone to stop us from doing what we want and therefore, be more free.
