Reposting from last year in case anyone has fellows who want to join the daily question google group.

Here's the deal.  for the entire time I have been a fellowship director, I have wanted to do something to ensure that my fellows learned something every day.  I send out an email question to them every morning Monday thru Friday.  The questions are from many different sources and will be short answer, ekg or x ray interpretation, Ultrasound interpretation, or multiple choice.  Each week the questions are on a different topic.  They need to send me their answer before the next morning when the answer is emailed to them.  I encourage them to look up the answer even if they know it so hopefully the accidental learning that happens by looking up the answer is valuable.

During the pandemic, I opened this up to other fellowships and it was fairly popular.  There are now 876 members on the google group. I am worried that the size of the group affects the reliability of the emails.  Last year there were several times when the email did not go to everyone.  If you no longer want to be part of the group, please unsubscribe.

Adding email addresses to the google group manually is fairly time consuming for me, so it is much easier for me if new members request to join by searching for thesportsmedicinedailyquestion  in a chrome browser.  I believe you go to groups.google.com, find the group and click the join group button.  It works best if there is a gmail address but others will work.

Make sure your fellows that join, and you want to actively participate, forward their answer to you or your designee.  Remind them to not reply to the email because then their answer will come to the entire group.  Please ask them to not send to me either.  I get enough emails.

This is a free learning opportunity for your fellows.  If they want to participate, I'm happy to add them to the group.  Since I am worried about the size of the group, please only join if you are really interested.

Have a great year everyone!
