Greetings friends...

Spring is here, love is in the air, flowers are gonna start popping up
any day now, and that can only mean one thing... The Spirit of Ontario
is going to be playing some shows in Rochester!

I've got one such show to tell you about - one I know you'll really
enjoy.

APRIL 18th

MONTY'S KROWN in Rochester, NY (Monroe Ave)

DOORS @ 9PM


We (under threat of a street fight ala "West Side Story" but with less
dancing) got asked to play a show with my newest favorite local band,
"Burning Daylight." Check them out on Myspace... They are excellent!

Also appearing will be "Still Fighting It." We just had a show with
them a few weeks ago and they probably don't know who we are -
especially since they probably bolted before we started... but hey
such is life. If I was young and cool I'd have better places to be
too... I guess. So who knows, maybe we'll meet them this time.

Anyways this show is April 18th - my Dad's birthday no less - and
we're gonna kick ass and take names at Monty's Krown Pub on Monroe Ave
in Rochester, NY.

So come out and buy my dad a rum and coke or something... We'll get
him wasted... It will be hilarious. That's worth your money right
there!


Seating for the show starts after 9pm. There will be a small cover
charge at the door - I just don't know exactly how much. Figure $3...


I (it's John by the way) will be finishing up the spring quarter at
RIT this May, at which point we're hoping to be about ready to release
our follow up album to Simple Things. This Album will have a lot more
Rock and electric guitar stuff on it. Basically, it's like a set from
a live show in the past year. Don't know about you, but I for one
could use a little rock and roll after this winter...


Looking forward to some warm weather, fun in the sun, summer gigs, and
a good time in general.
