Minister James Muhammad, the former Minister of the Tupelo, Ms study
group, and one of the originizing members of the first study group for
the city of Memphis, Tn under the leadership of The Honorable Minister
Louis Farrakhan, Leader of The Nation of Islam. We the member of the
southaven study, Believe that it is time for state Mississippi to
closely examine the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, his message and the
people who have come to follow his teachings. As mississippian
prepares to make a change, she is seen searching for new solutions to
her Plethora of problems. Every aspect of Mississippi society is
suffering. Her economy is faltering, her public schools are
failing,Maintaining the health of Mississippi's people has proven too
costly, crime is rampant, her sense of morality seems to have been
lost, and in general the whole future of the state has becopme a big
question. We would like to offer the words of the Honorable Elijah
Muhammad's Study, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and ourselves
as an example of what the words can produce, as a "torchlight for
Southaven, Mississippi and the great state of Mississippi
1: For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all
the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the
day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it
shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness
arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as
calves of the stall.
3: And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under
the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD
of hosts.
4: Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him
in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5: Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the
great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the
heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the
earth with a curse. Malachi 4:1
: I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto
thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them
all that I shall command him.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my
words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name,
which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the
name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deut. 18:18
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go
away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but
if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8: And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment:
9: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10: Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no

11: Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Behold, I make all things new. Rev 21, Isa 65 17: For, behold, I
create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be
remembered, nor come into mind. 7: He that overcometh shall inherit

better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of
one's birth. Prov 22 1: A good name is rather to be chosen than great
riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Tim2,215: Study
to shew thyself approved unto God15: Study to shew thyself approved
unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth. Peter 1,1 3:15: But sanctify the Lord God in your
hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh
you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Rev :
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this
prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the
time is at handA false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that

instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. 7: The fear
of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom

will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning,
and fools hate knowledge? 1 Corin 3:18 18: Let no man deceive himself.

woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as

7:2 2: For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her
