The Name Change!

This is from the old group posting and if most still have not read it,
I'm posting this for clarity on the name change. Our team will now go
by "Souseiki United"! My reasoning behind this name change is because
of new information presenting itself last weekend in regards to
Genesis, Jiu-Jitsu and another school having the same name. My coach,
mentor, and a man I consider my brother, Eddie Sanchez has had Genesis
Jiu-Jitsu trademarked and registered 4+ years ago and this school that
is going by Genesis BJJ appears to be fairly new. With all the new
information present, I wanted to avoid confusion, prevent from any
type of infringement, and I didn't want to seem like I was riding off
of the Genesis Name that Eddie has worked so hard to establish. So, I
opted to change the name and the logo. This way, it give us our own
identity yet still shows that we are still associated with Genesis Jiu-
Jitsu. Associated in the sense that we are still continuing the use
of the half star, and the use of Genesis but in Japanese. This is my
way of honoring my instructor Eddie Rene Sanchez! www.genesisjj.com
