Hello, I am new to the group. I have been using the Tarot (as well as
the I Ching and Astrology) for many years and feel I have developed my
intuitive faculty in this way. I am also a software developer, and have
long felt the urge to bring these two fields together. I believe that
the principle of synchronicty is what underlies the various methods of
divination, and that 'random' events are linked via the
interconnectedness of all phenomena. If this is true then the random
productions of a software program must also be included in this
principle.
I have however seen several professional readers of various traditions
debunking software programs as being somehow inferior. I would like to
get some peoples opinions on this; do you think that software cannot
deliver a good reading?
I have developed a Tarot application based on the Rider-Waite text and
have been using it myself. I find it is just as uncannily relevant as
dealing the cards by hand. Of course I am also hoping that I can sell
the software in the marketplace, so I am wondering if it is a viable
proposition in this sense as well. I would be grateful for anyone who
would like to try out the program (for free of course) and let me know
what you make of it. Please let me know what you think. You can
