Now that we have closure on the patent validity the sale of the company can finally happen. It'll be for much less than SQNM is worth but at this point the legal drag is over. Let's get $5 per share from ILMN and get it over with.

The Management  must be preparing for the annual  meeting   and it will be interesting  their disclosure on the increased stock authorization.......I contend it would be foolish to start a new appeal  unless   ILMN is willing to buy in........that  will tell all.........  Since  we don't know the value  of the CANCER  work or our ability to defend the patents involved.......I think  we should seek a buyer  with deep pockets  and be willing to settle for less.......Hopefully it will be a stock swap with no tax  creation  and remember SQNM  tax loss carry forward  would make it more attractive........I would  hope for $9.00.......GLTA

Anything over $7 is dreaming .... I have not seen in my 15 years of trading a lot of companies being sold for over 100% their stock value. very very very few actually are sold for double however looking at the thieves Ariosa and Verinata it's not impossible but highly improbable.

In my 33 years of trading and as a IAR, Broker, options principal CFP et cetera you have to adjust for stocks with a very high short interest. We'll see.

Can you give us an example of companies that sold for 3 times their stock value to adjust for very high short interest Mitchell?

With authorized shares double now it can slide slowly to $1.60. Not right away. Slowly. And even at under $1 management would not want to lose their fat check.
But, miracle happens sometimes too.

How much do they pay you for continually bashing this stock?  You're probably the same idiot that spams the Yahoo message board.  Get a life.

Mitch,

This was a very bad example ... SGYP Soared on their constipation drug data results not on a sale announcement. I guess you didn't have any examples so you looked up a pharma company that shot up on good news and slapped it on this board. Like i said there isn't any companies that get sold for 300% of their stock value regardless of short interest.

TROV tripled on thin air...the point is from here on a takeout overture SQNM can double THEN get taken out $3-$4 higher than that.
$10 is not unreasonable for SQNM. Or higher.
