Baruch Dayan HaEmes. We regret to inform you of the petirah of Hagaon Rav Avraham Dov Aurebach zt”l who was niftar Monday morning. Rav Avraham Dov served as Rav of Teveria for about sixty years. At a young age he was already well-known for his vast Torah knowledge. He properly fulfilled his role of Rav to protect the kehillah from outside infiltration, and rose mightily in recent years against the tidal wave of gezeiros. He worked to establish schools al taharas hakodesh, free of government interference. He called out fearlessly against spiritual breaches taking place in Teveria and throughout the country.Yehi zichro baruch.
