Launch of My Constitution Campaign in Sarawak

The state level of" MyConstitution campaign "will be launched this
Saturday, to be graced by YAB Pehin Sri Hj Taib Mahmud and YAA Tan Sri
Dtk Seri Panglima Richard Malanjun followed by a workshop this
Saturday the 10th April 2010 at 11.00 am at Petra 2 Pullman Hotel
Kuching.
If you have not been approached by the committee for an invitation,
please call the SAA Bar Room for details and an invitation to this
constitutional function of importance.
Word has it that Lunch will be served,that's reason enough to attend
on a Saturday, isn't it?
This campaign targeted at 15-35 years old, through distribution of a
series of 9 booklets ,workshops,talks, seminars and discussions will
be headed by SAA with any interested parties who can propagate the
campaign.
This website , initially setup as a forum and source of constitutional
privileges that Sarawakians enjoy as a equal component of the
Federation of Malaysia with Sabah,Singapore and Malaya will become
irrelevant if the newer generation of Sarawakians forget these
privileges Sarawak enjoys under the Malaysia Act 1962 of the United
Kingdom,
the "birth certificate" of Malaysia.
As one knows, birth certificates do not get changed,it is after all a
birth right of all Sarawakians, it is constantly being subject to such
attempts.
Any campaign that informs and reminds the future generations of
Sarawakians of this birthright is welcomed and commended if carried in
the spirit of the Malaysia Agreement 1962.
