Ethnic Studies Qualification?

Hi Group,

In our recent Senate and Curriculum meetings, the Response to Calif Ed Code 89032c document had us wondering which courses we could use/adjust/create that would meet an Ethnic Studies requirement. I have attached the document and the SLOs start on page 3 of the document.

I thought about this course! At my college, I teach CD 74: Living & Teaching in a Diverse Society and use this textbook. The SLOs for this class are set by the Chancellor's Office and match in some ways but not others the SLO requirements for the new ethnic studies criteria proposed by the ASCSU (Academic Senate of Calif State Universities). 

I am hoping someone here has also been working on a way to tweak the SLOs for the Living & Teaching in a Diverse Society ECE class to qualify as an ethnic studies class (by adjusting the SLOs). If so, I am hoping you could share what you've done.
