Human Capital Synergies Africa Ltd, is assisting the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) in the recruitment of an Executive Director. The position requires an energetic person with experience of research, policy analysis, advocacy and fund-raising. In addition, the ED is expected to provide overall scientific leadership of the Centre, set the direction of its research and dissemination programmes, develop and articulate strategies and operational plans, and managerial leadership.

 

Applicants should preferably be in their mid-career, have a PhD degree in social or environmental sciences, and several years of work experience in responsible positions. Candidates from Sub-Saharan Africa are encouraged to apply.
