Physics demo does not load in Android

Since the physics demo (beachballs & crates) works on chrome, I tried
to load it on the browser in Android 2.2 (running inside virtualbox on
ubuntu host), the loading progress bar stop at "17 of 17", and it does
nothing after that, except eating up CPU cycles.
Anyone got it load in Android?

my webgame LastPlant has similar objects to the physics demo and it
works with the default internet browser on android 2.2.
It's slow however.
