USO 2025 Day 14 Men’s finals

Everyone strap in…lol.  I have to be honest here and admit maybe this will not be a great final.  I thought from the start of the tournament that Sinner was lacking a great serve.  He served well enough, but his first serve percentage has been inconsistent.  I was bewildered.  Then in the Shapo match, it was evident.  He was able to win the match because of his ground game, and steadiness under pressure.  Same thing with Felix in the SF.  There was clearly something amiss with Sinner in that SF, because his first serve percentage was only 47%for the match.  He usually in the 60s.

Carlos has been the consistent player throughout the tournament, only having been broken twice in the entire tournament, and winning in straight sets.  So my money is on Carlos in this final.

sugar, Sinner isn’t lying IMO.  He hasn’t been serving up to his abilities this tournament.  Look at how long he has been trying to put this game away.  The first game.

Alcaraz has come to play of course.  I’m telling you guys, Alcaraz has looked better than Sinner all tournament.

I’m surprised that you all cannot see that Sinner isn’t playing up to high standards, and Carlos is employing all of his variety to try and win this match.

I can feel that this is going to be a one sided final, with Alcaraz winning it.  Even Johnny Mac said that Alcaraz is using his A game, but Sinner is using his B game, so far.

Bianca, I haven’t seen the camera’s panning to Trump so far.

My only concern with Alcaraz is that whenever he has some adversity in a match…especially against Sinner now, he is always looking at his camp for help.

Yes, that’s not it. Missvee ,is not only again sinner is with every single player he start losing, he needs to trust his game no matter what.

Sinner has the lead in the second set so far, and Carlos is making a valiant effort at securing a break , but as usual Sinner is strong on serve this set…even his second serve.

I totally agree with you sugar, that Carlos has to start trusting his game, because he is just so spectacular to watch playing tennis.

Yes sugar, as Sinner raised his level, Carlos lost his way for a bit. He is now fighting to get a break in this 3rd set immediately on Sinner’s serve.

Sinner has no answers to Carlos aggression in this 3rd set.  Alcaraz has been playing better all tournament long.  He will take this title today.  Carlos has sured up his serve.  So far no DF in the match.  Doubt that Sinner can come back in this set.

Sek, and Fedex please come out of hiding. Jannik Sinner’s game is not as lethal as usual.  Alcaraz has the momentum, and Sinners back against the wall.
