Okay Sugar,Miss Vee ,FedEx you all keep saying Carlos has got this ….he needs to live up to the hype today

Bianca, Carlos will live up to the hype today.  His downside in matches is that he can lose intensity and focus.  Always up and down in matches.  He has been more sturdy this tournament.  Of course Novak may be able to elicit the inconsistency in this upcoming match, but Carlos has shown that he has remained stable.  Has only dropped 1 service game in the tournament so far. Even if Novak is able to keep the match close, he will be run ragged when he is up against Carlos.

Miss Vee Novak is talking smack he really wants to take down Carlos and Sinner back to back ….I hope Carlos is everything you guys say he is cause Novak wants to whip him bad.

In other news Taylor lost in the doubles final…..oh well

I know that Taylor lost in the doubles final, to the Canadian team of Gabby Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe, who was born in Canada.😊

I was actually hoping Taylor and Siniakova would win the title, because it would have been a fitting conclusion to Taylor’s story.  Plus the massive increase in prize money for the doubles Champions would really have helped Taylor’s bank account….lol.   This young lady has come back from so much adversity in her life so far.  However she has turned the page on what happened when she was 16 years old, and risen from the ashes.  She has my respect.

Bianca you are too funny.  I think the fact he made all 4 major semis is an indictment of the tour.  The ATP is where the WTA was for a long time outside of Carlos and Jannik.

Lol sugar.  I do understand what you were going through trying not to watch that match.   I used to get that way with Roger, Venus and Osaka.  I enjoy watching Carlos play, and for some reason I’m not afraid that he will lose, except when he faces Sinner now. However, if Sinner reaches the final…lol, I will still be watching the match.

Carlos is the only guy who can blast with Jannik from the back but even he mixes it up and comes to net.  Felix can't stay behind the baseline and try to out-bludgeon Jannik.  has to get out of his comfort zone.  With that said, go do some cake-testing for the wedding bc you're cooked bro

I agree Bianca.  Djokovic needs to be shown the door.  Until the rest of the top 10 guys start beating him, he will not go away.  IMO, Djokovic is hoping in the next year to get to a GS final, and if Carlos or Sinner are knocked out early, or injured, maybe he has a chance.  That’s precisely why he is continuing to play.

I dont want Novak winning, but I have to give him his props, no one can’t defeat Father Time. Novak has done many questionable things but deep down he is a good guy.he was just trying too hard to be love ,life Federer and Nadal were and still are. Novak loves the sport.

sugar, I prefer Alcaraz playing style.  However I can watch Sinner’s matches because I like his precision style of tennis.  Remiscent of DelPotro, but more so of Djokovic….an AI generated version…lol.  He is more powerful than Novak.

Lol sugar.  Btw, guys….Felix knows that he has beaten Sinner although it has been 3 years since they faced off.  Someone has gotten into Felix’s head the fact that he needs to play his bigger game, of which we all know he is more than capable.  I saw this mindset when he played Sasha Zverev, and Rublev.  They both had led the H2H vs Felix.

Bianca, I have been wondering about Sinner ever since the Shapovalov match, because he (Sinner), wasn’t serving that well, but he did enough to turn the match around and win it.  However, even though he destroyed Bublik, it was because Bublik was gassed.  He hasn’t been pushed too much, but now I’m seeing that something may be wrong with Sinner.  This is a SF, and usually he is playing lights out tennis.

Mind you, Felix is playing very well.  Sinner and his team, don’t like to reveal anything that his opponent can expose, so they are keeping very quiet.

Sugar, that’s how I remember Felix playing when he was 17/18 as he first came on to the tour.  Feel bad for him in this match.  He has been moving forward at every opportunity.

I could feel this break of serve coming in that game.  Felix had so many opportunities to break Jannik’s serve, and failed.  Jannik had 1 break chance, and converted it.

Sinner has to be fully fit to beat Carlos, so I think Carlos will be hoisting the USO trophy on Sunday.  James Blake asked him point blank Iga is dealing with an injury, but Jannik deftly sidestepped the question.

No Missvee ,is not about sinner is about Carlos . Carlos at his best is better than sinner at his best, so honestly injured or not is always about Carlos. Is just like with Serena .
