Love watching Musetti play tennis.  He is up against Goffin, who is a great player to watch also.  I can this matchup without becoming frustrated.

Would like to see if Coco can win today.  I’m very hopeful for her, now that she has finally taken steps to do something about the things that have made her game so unwatchable by tennis diehards.

Many Canadians in action today, including a doubles match with Venus and Fernandez…lol.  Gotta see this one.

One of the reasons that I don’t like to watch Iga’s matches in the first week, is because she is so dominant against lower ranked players.  Even players in the top 20-30, she can issue breadsticks and bagels.

Shapo has started stinking up the court in this second round match against someone named Royer.  He has to be the most undisciplined player, that I have ever supported.  It seems that in his mind, he has to play the way he wants to play, and will never adjust his mindset.  He just threw in at least 2 double faults, to allow himself to be broken. Not watching his match.  My stomach cannot take it!

Swiatek has lost the second set.  I had expected her to roll in this one. Lamens is making Iga work for this one.

Well Denis fought back to take the first set to a tiebreaker which he won.  Royer took a lengthy time in the bathroom after he lost the first set.  C’mon Denis, please don’t let up.

They should set a portapotty by the court.

Lol sugar.  That’s a good idea.
I’m no longer following Naomi’s career, but oh!  What a sweet striker of the ball is Naomi!  I have to watch her matches, because I do appreciate good looking tennis.  Her last 2 matches facing Baptiste earlier this year, were tough 3 setters.  Her fitness level has really improved now.  She is now a confident player.  She routined Baptiste today 3&1.

Denis is in his free flowing state in this match out on Court 7?!? I think.  Anyway, he is up a break in the 4th set.  Hopefully he can close this match out.  Standing room only, and the crowd is fully behind him.

Shapo is into the 3rd round to hopefully face Sinner.  29 aces and 70 winners in this match today.  Wow!

Fernandez/Wiliams won the first set after being down by a break.  Made it to a tiebreak, and team Fernandez/Williams won the tiebreak on Venus’ serve.  Gotta tell you that Fernandez is a very gritty competitor everywhere…in singles and doubles.  The stands are packed on Louis Armstrong….lol.

I watched some of that Venus/Leyla match. Leyla is a good doubles partner. She should find a regular partner and start winning majors.
I also peeked into the Parks/Yastremska match. Parks is such a diva, lol. She walks around like she is the world number 1.

Venus is playing so well considering everything.  God how illness robbed her.  And her doubles first round is more exciting than a WTA slam final at the moment.

Fernandez is a very good doubles partner, and it’s obvious that playing doubles helps her singles game.  She has always had to fight for recognition as a tennis player, because of her size…lol.  However, she is winning titles, and is racking up sponsors…..not as many as Raducanu or Gauff or Osaka, but she is doing ok in that department.

Fedex, we can’t keep looking back…lol.  I keep hearing her voice 3 nights ago after her first round loss, when she said, “ I just wanted to play freer….just wanted to be able to play free.”  Still rips at my heart.

Sekasi, help!  Diallo is being routined by Munar so far.  I’m wondering if he’s alright, because he was vomiting 2 nights ago, after his first round match.

Gauff’s matches have now become adventures in craziness….lol.  She’s serving most of the time in the mid 70s to mid 80s…first and second serves, and getting punished.  The stress is written all over her face, and her Mother’s as well.

Felix wants to join Denis in the 3rd round.  He has come out firing, and is up 4-1 on Safiuillin.  Let’s go FAA!!

Gotta give Gauff credit for finally taking the bull by the horns, and making the decision that has been long overdue.  She is struggling, but getting through these matches with a lot of support from the crowd, and her mental fortitude.  Her entire game looks a bit better, without all these DF, and forehand errors.  She only had 1 DF in the second set.  At least she is giving herself a chance of her serve not being as vulnerable to causing losses in these majors.

Coco is so young yet she has all this stress on her shoulders. At what point is she going to start enjoying playing tennis.
I don't think i have ever seen her crying after an early round win.

Miss_Vee, I am staying away from FAA. That kid could be up 2 sets 5-1 in the third and still fail to close it out.

I know Sek. Huge 😞.  Mind you Safiuillin is also tough so there’s that, but he hasn’t had a good results this year.  Felix needs to get this done in straight sets.
Tsitsipas is still out there trying to turn his fortunes around in this tournament.  Omg!  😩!  Isner just showed up alongside Jason Goodall.  Switching to another channel.

I think there is a large contingent of Canadians camped out on Court 5 today who have been rendering huge amounts of support to Canadian players.  Noticed that this since Shapo’s match earlier today.

Who are these people conducting on court interviews after tennis matches? What is ESPN doing?  These ex players who have recently retired should not even be seen during a tennis tournament, because they retired for a reason.  I totally despise what this network is doing to coverage of these Majors.  Ugh!😩
