Francis Tiafoe/Todd Martin

Do you guys think Martin will help him? Call me crazy I feel like a European or South American coach will be more helpful to Francis he was losing the battle so atleast he made a change to try something new

I don’t know Bianca!  Tiafoe really does not have the self belief.  He may try to act as if he does believe in himself, but during the tough moments, one can clearly see him fold.  He needs the crowd’s energy to motivate him to reach a higher level in match play….which he really doesn’t have at his disposal.  Like Sek, I too think Frances has reached his ceiling.

I don’t think he is a Wawrinka like type guy, who will break out at age 28-30 and win GS and Masters titles.  Tiafoe comes off like a joker…gets thrills from entertaining the crowds.   Don’t see him as a serious contender for big titles.
