For a moment there, I thought Shnaider was about to lose her 2nd round match.  She was down 3 match points, but survived and won her match in the 6-2 in the 3rd set.

Mboko is up against McNally.  C’mon Vicky!!

Daniil Medvedev had come back from a break of serve deficit to even up the match.  Then I’m the tie break at 9-8 to win the first set, he stupidly played a drop shot at an inappropriate time.  Halys made him pay…lol. Now Meddy has to come back.  Hopefully he can win in 4 sets.  I’m cheering for Meddy.

Vicky takes the first 6-4….Woo-hoo!!!

Mboko started the second set, going down 0-3.  Returned the set to 3 games all, and is now serving for the match.  This girl has a champion’s mindset, and has Champion written all over her game.  Vicky Mboko through to the 3rd round.

Good morning Miss_Vee. That Carlos first set was a battle, once he got it in the pocket I knew the journeyman was done. 

That guy was serving so well and hitting a clean ball but Carlos wore him down physically.

ESPN did not show us much of Mboko's match, glad she won in 2.

Still don’t understand why you all are nervous for Carlos.  You have to expect players to try and play out of their shoes to beat Carlos.

Sek, I saw some of Jovic’s video clip this morning.  She looks impressive, beating her opponent in straight sets 6-1,6-2 or something.  I would have to watch an entire match to see why tennis analysts are so impressed with her game.  She’s quite a tiny girl…lol, although she seems taller than Dominique Cilbulkova…lol.

No, last night I was not nervous about Carlos, I just did not want him to have a long match. 

Miss_Vee, my hesitation with Iva is she just lost to Svitolina last week. Does she have no big weapons? Is she another Cici Bellis?
