Sabalenka needs to make this quick. Don't give her any free points.

How did Coco lose to Svitolina, this girl is so bad.

The serves look like they are coming in at 60 mph. I will wait for the next SF.

Sek, I was surprised to see that you are awake.  I woke up, a few minutes ago to see the last game, and Sabalenka totally demolished Svitolina, as we expected.

I will not be watching this second SF Live.  I’m a chicken….lol.  I’m aware that Pegula can also win this match.  Their matches are very tight, because of Pegula’s consistency.  So it’s truly a 50-50 contest.  Just hoping Rybakina can serve lights out.  However night matches don’t help her serve, but I’m hoping for the best.

Miss_Vee, Rybakina will win this one. Jessica as expected is tight, not the game you saw against Amanda.
We need a Sabalenka - Rybakina final.

I’m watching now the match Sek.  Hoping can Rybakina can keep serving in this manner.

Rybakina got this, no sweat. Sabalenka played very well today but I expect her to implode when she faces this Rybakina.

Rybakina won the first set.  Let’s see how Pegula starts the second set.  C’mon Elena!

Rybakina broke serve in the third game.  But Pegula is trying to fight back, and has a break point in Rybakina’s serve.  Dammit!
C’mon Rybakina.

Rybakina broke right back, so she now serves at 3-2, and hopefully will consolidate the second break, while continuing to hold on to her serve.  C’mon girl!!

Rybakina now serving for the match, after messing up 3 match points on Pegula’s serve.  Hold your serve Rybakina!!

I think Rybakina became too anxious when she was serving for the match the first time.  She is trying to serve it out once again.  She must be nervous or Pegula has figured out a strategy to extend this match.

If Rybakina wins this match now, she will not win the AO.  She has allowed Pegula to break her twice, while she was serving for the match.  Tiebreak time.  Can’t watch now.

Rybakina must be having a severe dip, which often happens in a second set, when she’s meeting resistance from her opponent, unless she is serving lights out.

O.m.g!  I couldn’t watch the last 25-30 mins.  Rybakina finally pulled it out in the tie break…lol 9-7!  Should never have gone there, but as usual Pegula must have been fighting back hard, combined with Rybakina not serving as well.
Final Sabalenka vs Rybakina….. a repeat of AO 2023.  Hopefully we will have a great 3 setter.

The 2 SFs were similar. Both Svitolia and Pegula's only chances were for Sabalenka and Rybakina to miss their shots.
Keys and Amanda would never lose to Pegula if they kept the ball in play.

Rybakina is back to No 3 in WTA live rankings.   Got to say that Sabalenka enjoys being No 1, and seems determined to stay there.   Gauff is now No 5.

Fedix after your post on the issues with the Ukrainian players, lol you have to give it to sabalenka, she doesn’t give a darn, no handshakes. She is there to play.

Svitolina is over the top with that Russia-Ukraine thing. After the coin toss, she stepped away so she did not have to take a pic with Sabalenka. They had to do 2 separate pictures.

Miss_Vee, much as Sabalenka is at the top, she is not collecting that many grandslams. This is her 8th GS final, she has 4  wins so far.

I hear you Sek about Sabalenka.  I simply hope that it’s a great battle, and Rybakina gets the upper hand on Aryna, and maintains it.  No dips…just go for the win as she did in Saudi….lol.  I know how tough Sabalenka can be, if she gains the upper hand.

Again, are any of them against what's going on in Gaza, Sudan, etc?  If not, this is all performative bs.

I know Fedex!  I don’t even hear about Gaza any longer or Sudan on mainstream media.  I cannot even think about the atrocities going on everywhere….even in your home country.
