Interestingly the triplet of Bastad-Gstaad-Kitzbuehel exists from the very beginning of an Open Era. With a short interruption in 2010, when Kitzbuehel was not held. And for the whole time since 1968 nobody managed to win all these 3 tournaments the same year. Granted, for many years Gstaad and Bastad were on the same week ))) But not always. So Casper Ruud made some history here. And even career-wise - prior to Ruud only one player in history won all 3 of these tournaments. Emilio Sanchez.

That’s interesting in.the historical aspect for the ATP. There are not many men, other than the big 4 in their better years that have won back to back tournaments…..playing 3 weeks in a row. The more he wins, the more confidence he is gaining in these tournaments.

I know I've been an ass to Mick (and everyone here at some point but Mick probably more recently) but that actually was an interesting look at tennis history. Thank you for sharing that, Mick! Great research!
