Here is how to fix green screen of death, first unplug all cables on back of LCD, take LCD of stand or mount you need to access the back of TV. Second you need small size Phillips screw driver and small flat head screwdriver, place tv on stable surface make sure screen is not damage. I placed my TV on the bed so i would not damage it. Next you need to touch something that will remove static away from your hands. The back of a CPU will do that, next locate the holes and remove all screws, this could range from 10 - 20 depending on your brand. Next carefully remove back plastic panel. Locate long ribbon cable that looks like the one used on CPU's, next take flat screwdriver and carefully remove cable as not to damage. Remove both ends and this is where your problem is, the pins are very small and when lint builds up in there is causes your LCD to jumps signals and electrical currents between this small pins, next you need to clean the pins by using a airduster canister ( compressed air) and clean the pins and the connections on the flat ribbons wire. When this is clean and no dust or lint connect the ribbon wire the same way you took apart, FINALLY your LCD is should be working like new. Put back back panel on and screw it back on. Try LCD for picture quality and magic it works again.
