to The Race Director
Three races now in the past month that have had multiple laps for some or all of the divisions. I have at least two more races in the next month that will be doing the same.
In every race so far, the question has come up as to how many people are on a specific lap i.e. a two lap running race with a rolling start, they were wondering if everyone is on their second lap or if there were any still on their first lap. With two laps, it is pretty easy to give them a number based on the count that is showing on the bottom of the chip results screen. But then they ask who those people are.
The bike race though has 4-7 laps so it is not as easy to determine how many are on which lap.
Looking for a way to generate that information somewhat quickly and, if asked, be able to determine who they are.

I thought that at one time we were able to see who was still out on the swim in a triathlon, this would be somewhat similar.
