I need assistance with a setting within divisions/events. I recently timed a high school cross country meet.

I entered all the boys in division 1 and all girls in division 2. I sat this up as one meet, but we ran the girls and boys separately (at different start times as it was one meet but with 2 races being a boys race and a girls race).

Race Director scored it perfectly, however when I went to put in the times manually, since the boys ran 1st I was entering their times. When I began putting in the girls time, because some of the faster girls had faster times than the slower boys and even though the girls were in Division 2, I got an error when entering the girls time since it was lower than the slower boys. See attached picture. Error was "Time can not be less than the previous time".

I need to know where the setting is to change the EVENT from Single Event Race to a Dual Race Event so all times can be entered.

You need to set this up as a wave start by age group. Create a single division , and set the race name to whatever works (Millbrook XC). In the agegroups for that race, allow both males and females (so put in 0-99 girls, 0-99 boys).  Put the boys start time in the start box in chip results. Set the girls wave time (the delta time from race 1 to race 2) in the age group set up screen (select the girls age group, and you will be able to set the wave time). Reimport your times and boom, ready to add your manual times.  You can do what you are trying to do. The girls times will need to be entered as net (ie including the wave). There is an option there to put in actual, too.
