Converting Plain Text To pdf or HTML

Before I post my results, I like to save them in a plain text file as I can easily edit and make a couple of comments in the heading, or place a short comment about the Race Host.

Is there anyway to convert the plain text file to pdf without buying extra Adobe software, or converting it to HTML in order that I can post online? 

Any info on this would be appreciated.

There are many ways. In windows, you can do file > print and select print to pdf. 

I like a program called pdf redirect which has a great free version. It allows you to easily combine more than one thing.
