Wow! I didn't realize this had gotten members. Please let me know if
any of you are still here. I promise to be more attentive to this
thing. I've learned a lot over the last month.
First off......get some shopping bags, just the shear amount of
plastic bags we don't have in our house now is amazing! And with four
kids we do a lot of grovery shopping so that should tell you
something. Just this morning we avoided getting 12 plastic bags by
using the reusable kind sold at Wal-Mart and our local grocery store,
something to think about.

Saved a mouse at work today, I was utterly amazed at how many
different reactions there were.

Aquaponically speaking, goldfish have significantly more Poo Power
than Guppies do. No offense to the Guppies, they're pretty to look at
and all but they just don't have the oomph in their Poo to support a
significant amount of plants from what I've tested so far.

Now I may be trying to be more ecologically friendly but mosquitos
still must die. I don't know how but somehow one got in the house and
managed to lay eggs in my aquarium. Talk about sucks to me when those
stinking larvae start hatching. And I really don't know how to get rid
of them without harming the guppies short of moving them all and
hosing out the whole tank. This really sucks... literally
