I've been keeping up to date with the latest XKCD comics [0] so that I stay well informed.

I see that today's hot topic in github [1] has over 300 repos, with the lion's share in javascript and python,
but none in perl or raku.  A lot of them are either vizualization or json parsing tools.
Looks like people prefer to present their models in Jupyter Notebooks, with at least one brave soul
working in C modelling with ODEs. I guess that with git repositories "trending" I'm now starting to understand
why they call them social coding networks and I see the importance of starring repos that you want promoted.

What I found more interesting was a blog post [2] by someone trying out BioPerl [3] for the first time.
It's just plotting spike protein sequence lengths from NCBI [4] data, but it feels more like analysis and less like presentation.

Thought I'd share.  Anybody else got something?
