MANGUST – дуэт из Санкт-Петербурга, изначально сольный, основанный Ольгой Бестужевой в Мехико, после работы в нескольких музыкальных проектах разных направлений и под вдохновением от старой доброй французской электроники и психоделии PinkFloyd. Осенью 2013го к проекту присоединился известный музыкант, вокалист группы THE-PULSAR, Алексей Бойцов, и в новом составе проект выступил «вживую». В “FRAGILE”EP группа впервые представит студийную запись с вокалом. Mangust, всё так же вдохновляясь романтикой космоса и ретрофутуризмом из «Тайны третьей планеты», приближается к более олдскульному и порой индустриальному звучанию в музыкальном плане в синтезе с новыми возможностями в мире синтетической музыки, а благодаря наличию вокала появилась возможность использовать множество текстов на волнующие музыкантов темы.
Врелизетакжевкачестверемиксеровпринялиучастиепятьпроектовизразныхстран: X-inJune (Германия), Holm/Mirland (Дания), Id Molotov (Россия), Vaavan (Россия), ReverendRecode (США), иногда придавая песне совершенно неожиданный оттенок. Ремиксы будут для любителей различных электронных стилей, от darkelectro и EBMдо hardcore и trance, и придутся по вкусу многим.
В подарок любителям всего космического в "FRAGILE” появятся два инструментальных трека: уже знакомый по первому альбому Мангуста “Ping the Galaxy” и новый, более лиричный, “Determind to Zero”.

A new EP called “Fragile” from MANGUST!
MANGUST is a duo from St.Petersburg, Russia, originally a solo project, started in Mexico D.F. by Olga Bestuzheva, inspired with old good French electronic and Pink Floyd’s psychedelic influence, after collaboration with various musical bands. By the fall, 2013 a well-known musician, the vocalist of THE-PULSAR band, Alexey Boitsov joined the project and MANGUST had its first live show the new lineup. “FRAGILE” EP will officially present vocal tracks for the first time. Mangust, staying inspired with space romantics and retro futurism, closes up to more old school and sometimes industrial sounding in the alloy with new options of synthetic forms, and due to the presence of the voice there appeared and opportunity of using a great amount of lyrics on subjects that the band is concerned about.
The main theme of the EP says about the transience of time and the fragility of surrounding worlds existence, where we are the creators of our own destiny, nevertheless:
“Fragile” EP also consists of great remixes from such bands as X-in June (Germany), Holm/Mirland (Denmark), Id Molotov (Russia), Vaavan (Russia), Reverend Recode (USA), giving to the main theme a surprising interpretation from time to time. The remixes will please many fans of electronic music from dark electro and EBM to hard core and trance.
To rejoice those who like the things on space theme MANGUST included into the release two instrumental tracks: an already known from the “No room for error” album (2013) “Ping the Galaxy” and a new one, a bit tenderer, called “Determined to Zero”.
