Last Sunday we joined up with the Guelph Nature Club led by David Brewer, looking for ducks. We visited a number of locations along the North shore of Lake Ontario. We started at LaSalle Marina, then some of us stopped at the nearby Bayshore Park. I did not. We then met up at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters. From there we went to Windermere Basin. And finally Gray's Road in Hamilton.

It was a really fun outing, with quite a large group, and different from our norm - with this outing we went to locations along the lake, and stood and looked. No walking. Still quite lovely, thanks everyone for coming out and making it a great day!

Photos can be seen at the link below, thanks to Dave Archbell for contributing his work. You will see that his photos largely have the bird names indicated on the photo itself, nice learning tool Dave! As always, to see the ID on the photos I included, please click on the photo, then click on the small "i" in the upper right of the photo, and look for the file name in the information to the right of the photo.

Thanks to everyone for such a fun outing!

Colleen

One of the members of the Guelph Nature Club shared her ebird lists with me, so wonderful and much appreciated!
