Rohan McLeod has begun to organise physical meetings. Here is the report I received from him this morning (5 Nov):

"Present at the 1st Philosophy Forum meeting on Sunday 2nd Nov. at the Clyde Hotel in Carlton were: Steven, Melinda, Richard and Rohan. The relief of just eating out with real people and no masks, was obvious and much of the evening  (only two hours currently) was taken up with gossip, small talk etc. But towards the end the conversation took a more serious bent as we discussed what turned out to be the altruistic virtue of charity.....perhaps we will continue the discussion next month.

A table for eight has been booked at the Clyde Hotel for the reformed "Philosophy Forum" on Sunday 6th Dec. 7:30pm.
(Just for clarity, this is "reformed" in the sense of "started again". Hopefully it will include amongst others, those who attended the old Philosophy Forum facilitated by Lev, which eventually became the Critical Thinkers Group, now defunct!)
Please notify me, preferably via landline phone: 9191 1631, or - mcl...@protonmail.com - as management is very strict about numbers. The Covid19 precautions are still quite strict: - ordering of drinks and meals can be done entirely with "QR" codes on a mobile phone app, although I noticed we all chose to do it physically - many tables were not used, and we noticed we had to leave on the dot of two hours to allow others in to use the table."
