Memo from your Perfect Gift Shop friends

Hello to our loyal Perfect Gift Shop customers and friends.
Closing our store was heartbreaking but necessary because of the
economy.
Thank you for your support during that difficult time.

As circumstances would have it, after we closed and moved out of the
store
June 20, my mom fell hard (tripped over the dog leash) and broke her
left arm at
the elbow. Mom is full time caretaker for my brother who is severely
disabled, so
for the next 3 months Wally and I went back & forth & took care of
both of them
at their home at the other end of Huntington Beach (we live just one
mile north of
the old gift shop). Successful surgery, long pin in the elbow,
physical therapy,
adaptive equipment, and changes in their home & vehicle accessibility
so they
can be independent again.

So we are only now catching up on our own life schedules and
obligations.
We sure do miss you all - we did love sharing our lovely and fun gift
shop with you.

As we mentioned before, we are pleased to announce that a selection of
our
gifts, home decor & collector lines are now available at
SURF CITY CONSIGNMENT-
the upscale furniture & accessories store recently opened at
6901 Warner Avenue
Huntington Beach, at Goldenwest by the Post Office

The Gift Boutique corner we are helping to stock provides our
customers with
continuity for your holiday and year-round shopping. Some items are
already
unpacked and the rest will be on display and ready for your shopping
pleasure
after Halloween.
