Student AGM: Tuesday 15 June 6-7pm

Hi everyone

The OU student club will be holding its annual general meeting (AGM) this Tuesday, 15 June, 6-7pm, on Teams. We have invited everyone on the student interest mailing list, which includes everyone who signs up at Freshers Fair each year and any OU students on this GoogleGroup. 

OU student club members, if you didn't receive Friday's email from the University club email account, please let me know and I will forward you the details. I do hope you can join us on Tuesday!  

The purpose of the AGM is to let folks know what has been happening in the last year and elect a new student committee. Usually attendees are students who are already training and potential committee members are regulars in the dojo that the current committee members have already spoken to. As we haven't been able to include new student members in training this past year, we've invited anyone who would like to volunteer for the committee to attend the meeting. 

As University staff, Sports Fed have agreed to have Nick and I as interim committee members to support the students. If we don't have anyone step forward now, we will hopefully be able to recruit from students who attend training in the summer. 

Non-student club members don't need to attend the student AGM. However, if any of you want to attend, I'm happy to send you the Teams link too.
