Aikido in lockdown: January 2021

Hi everyone

Welcome to 2021! We hope that your festive season was as good as is possible under the circumstances. From tier 2 to tier 4 and now a national lockdown, things have certainly changed since last month's message. Unsurprisingly, the Sports Centre remains closed with no timeline for when it might open again. But, with two vaccines approved and in roll-out, we do have hope of an end to this situation. BAF is crossing fingers that Summer School might be able to go ahead as planned in August. 

Virtual First Thursday

Fees and insurance

Please cancel your regular standing orders while you are not training. If you have been paying and would like to organise a refund from April, please get in touch. If you resume training at another dojo before we start up (does the Isle of Wight have an Aikido club?!), please do not assume your insurance has automatically been renewed. Check in with Richard first. 

Practice in lockdown

Informal outdoor practice in Botley remains on hiatus while we are in tier 4/5. Nick will send out details by email once we can resume.
